Does my Mum love me? (not respecting fear of stuff)

if I was the op, why would I need to start a new profile? what would i gain from doing htat? they already have pretty good anon-profile.
Oh deary me.
Look, you're using your phobia for attention, you've had lots, albeit not the attention you were craving/expecting, now toddle off to your hermetically sealed room for a nap.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I personally detest the smell of any sort of aerosol spray such as deodorant, hairspray, strong perfume etc, so much so that I cannot be near it. Luckily OH does not really like that sort of thing either so we limit it it our house. I am ok with pump action sprays in moderation, or general smells from bleach, cleaning stuff etc though, so we can use those. We always use roll on deodorant and I am careful to spray only a little perfume, and we also limit use of air fresheners etc, by frequently opening windows and airing the house. Basically all this is to say I understand how you feel, up to a point, but I do think yours is a severe phobia and you do need help.
Clearly your mum does love you, she has adapted some of her life to help suit (e.g. using a roll on) but you cannot expect her to alter her whole life, no matter how much distress it causes you!
Perhaps she doesn't realise just how it makes you feel/react.
I hope you can come to some solution soon.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

There are instances on this thread of her giving mental health advice.
She's telling someone how to cure their phobia, using terms like exposure etc. That is mental health advice.
Not to mention being condescending towards somebody who is vulnerable and talking about suicide. Jax's is the troll on this thread.
I am not sure who 'Jax' is?
I have made no suggestion of a miracle cure, simply pointed to (in your own words) well known techniques that may or may not assist [STRIKE]you[/STRIKE] the OP. You will note several others also pointed out the same techniques to [STRIKE]you[/STRIKE] the OP.
It must be terribly stuffy in your air sealed room today? Is the heat getting to you?0 -

You'll never find early-20s and manic_jac posting at the same time!! Can't be logged on at the same time!
Its traditional troll behaviour -goes with the cloven hooves and need for use of deodorant - and of course you're not early 20s ......late teens possibly!0 -
maniq_jaq has kindly messaged me to say he is not the OP. So it must be true if he says it is? :rotfl:0
