Do not get me started on aspartame, diet coke and addiction  . Of all the silly, expensive, useless things to get stuck on it takes the biscuit:mad: I hate my diet coke addiction, and I am sick of wasting money on it:mad:
To be fair on this one, some bottles were for my DH for his occasional drink.
BTW I gave up smoking almost without effort. It just goes to show!Totally lost by this post

I'm addicted to cold lager.
Have you tried replacing the diet coke with sparkling mineral water? The money, Dave...0 -
Dave Brooker - I hope none of this is presumptious - I have seen what happens when these accusations start on a thread and I think it is ruder to divert a thread to your own agenda than to express a differing opinion to the OP.
Thanks for the support, despite what you may read here, I'm not a troll. The money, Dave...0 -

I just didn't agree with the OP's whinge.The money, Dave...0 -

I think the OP is stressed. If it hadnt been the TESCO delivery man it would of been something else.
Its not really worth venting about. Consider this, this forum is for people who want to VENT and hopefully someone else can provide some information or advice.
Not threads like these....
Help, TESCO turned up early and I didnt answer the door even though I knew he was there, they left the food outside, luckily my husband had turned up! They unpacked 30 minutes early
Then a load of posters pay lip service to the OP.....like there there, dont worry, TESCO are horrible -evil Tesco whinge moan, huggs, etc..ad nauseum
I agree with Dave Brooker. 30 minutes early!
ANSWER THE DOOR > SIGN FOR FOOD> PLACE FOOD IN FRIDGE> PHONE TESCO> COMPLAIN.
But you have done that before time and time again.....WHY?0 -

What do you base this on? You are covering old ground now, I would say that you seem stressed, maybe you should calm down before you get a hernia0 -

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit :rolleyes:0 -
I think OP totally justified with her post. She booked her time for delivery with Tesco because she knew she would be caught up with children's bedtime. DH was at work. She did not know the guy had left stuff on the doorstep - out of order.
Totally know how it is as my DD has two young children and I know when not to phone. If doorbell went when DD bathing boys on her own, no, she wouldn't answer as she would not leave boys unattended in the bath.
Years ago if I was dealing with our two, I would have been the same.
Circumstances dictate.
My DD has done Tesco on line and has been totally satisfied with the service she got - we must be lucky.
Again, I must say that this forum has some very vitriolic and quite unpleasant posters. There can be differences of opinions but there is so no need to be so nasty. As I have said, circumstances dictate.
