For someone who was far too busy to answer the door, you seem to have plenty of time to post here...
Guilty as charged - when you and others accuse me of being 'lazy' or 'childish', then yes, I do feel the need to fight my corner - agree it's a complete waste of time though... Oh, and 2 bigger kids at school, baby, blessedly asleep at the moment, so a little 'free' time.
That's my excuse, what's yours, pointless guy? Why are you so busy on this thread?
You'll have to excuse me if I don't answer till later - heard first signs of baby awaking from slumbers and then off out to have a life. What about you, Davy, off to pay some delivery drivers to talk to you?...... You know, if you improved your manners, you might even make some friends who don't charge.....0 -

I'm sure I read somewhere that a very high proportion of murder victims were known to their killers.Just for one moment, thought I'd found my way.0 -

So there's a fair chance that buy being freindly towards people who deliver things here they may well decide to kill me?
Should I rugby tackle the postman and tie him up before he has a chance to axe murder me?The money, Dave...0 -
Fairenoughclough - I think that generally applies to friends and family rather than food shopping delivery drivers. The ones that some to my house are very sweet, and have had ample opportunity to murder me should that be their nefarious reason for taking a delivery job...:p0

How do you get through so much?
Do not get me started on aspartame, diet coke and addiction  . Of all the silly, expensive, useless things to get stuck on it takes the biscuit:mad: I hate my diet coke addiction, and I am sick of wasting money on it:mad:
To be fair on this one, some bottles were for my DH for his occasional drink.
BTW I gave up smoking almost without effort. It just goes to show!Always another chapter0 -

i'm wondering whether Dave Brooker is on this board just to wind people up.... he certainly has had a very aggressive/condescending/unhelpful attitude to people on other threads so i'm guessing debating the point isn't really worth it!:happyhear0

Fair enough you didn't answer the door for whatever reason really. I work from home and if I booked a slot for after 9pm and I am working up until 9pm my job is such that if I took 10-15mins early to go let it in then I woudl loose that time.
I bet the driver heard your child though and thought oh she will answer the door in a bit and is in. I'm not saying that was right but it is a fair assumption to make. But I agree with you in that if you book a time slot that is when it should be delivered.Nice to save.0 -
