Low spend day here, feeling under the weather so bought a digital book for £3 to cheer myself up. Back at work from tomorrow for 6 days, hoping to not have poorly head tomoz.
Have a good bank hol everyone!0 -
Good morning....
Tis but a weary night of late.. one wishes to divulge exactly what I do as it's quite an interesting one. But I can't! I am however one day tempted to rock up in a onesie. Then my employers might get the idea that turning off the heating at night is not productive. It just makes there employees angry. **shiver shiver**
I think I will buy a onesie soon folks, it might be on my Christmas wish list. Nothing better than curling up in bed with Mog and being that super cosy.. with a window open listening to the rain...
I must admit knowing that the rain will be horrific this weekend makes working this late all the easier. I am clearly not missing anything tomorrow by being in bed all day ...:rotfl:
His_Missus I am impressed. I will be even more impressed if you last 2.5 weeks and spend NOTHING MORE! :T..
I am eating a lot on nights so that is rather annoying to my stock load for the coming week however I have now spent my entire budget with £3 left over for the foodbank people that I still haven't managed to get too..
Going to complain to Tescos about the use of a voucher and being made to feel really uncomfortable when preseting it to a person on the till. I lost 50p cause I felt I had to leave and they don't give you any change from it... and their disgusting guacamole I wasted £2.50 on by buying two...
So... I am not very exciting today but at least I scored an SFD... Whoop!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I remember my mother visiting once and i had a pack of sausages in the freezer and that was it..... however, I wasnt hungry or super poor, i'd simply run low on supplies before going shopping, I now have two freezers, which ive just struggled and moved around to squeeze a pack of mince into as it's going out of date!!
there is still no threat of zombies in the area (that i know of) so what on earth do i need it all for??
I didnt have as much money a few years ago, I'd just bought my first house and had a baby, but managed, and never got hungry even when we were counting the 5p's to buy milk!!
I like old me... I'm off to find her!!Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Hi all...
I hope you're having a nice Bank Holiday weekend so far...
I've got a tonne of work up ahead of me this next week - but after that - blissful release and a return to a life of study-free normality!!! I can't wait. Today I have washed everything, changed my bed and vacuumed my room so there can be no distractions lol.
Today = SFD number 17
Enjoy your Sunday folks! Catch you tomorrow!!!

Hmmm Kat, I will probably buy some cooked meat for butties each week using my remaining £6. The day before we go on holiday I will need to buy catfood using the CC unfortunately. No other need to spend though.0

Oh my goodness, I've had two whole days off work!!! Unheard of for me - I'm in Kat's category when it comes to working (my last day off was 11 July when I drove home from Scotland ) I've used it to catch up on sleep, friends and housework, do a little batch cooking and finally do a bit of exercise!
I spent the rest of my food budget (all but 97p) on good, healthy food and have been inspired by the ohsheglows.com website Kat mentioned (teased us with!). I made the Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal for my lazy breakfast today and didn't need to eat again til 9pm! Delish
So I have no food money, no petrol money and £9.03 misc money left so I'm counting down the days til payday. I did get a little excited by Abundant's wages being in his bank (excited for you Abundant, but also hopeful mine might be too....alas they were not!). It's alright though, they can't be touched til 1 September so the dreaded danger zone is avoided for another few days.
I'm going to go back to yoga again tomorrow (if I can move  It's been a while since I last exercised!) and spend half of my remaining misc budget on a yummy smoothie after the class
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday weekend0
