Ha ha I love the bit about the cat breaking into the whiskas box! I've just bought and plastic cereal container for my cat food - I buy biggish bags from of dry cat food and if I should not feed my cat on time then she breaks into the bag using tooth and claw and I end up with a months worth of cat food all over the utility room!
Well, as long as the cat isn't using your credit card to order online...

Short bird, there wasn't much left in the box. I think he was just protesting because he fancied some "junk food"0

.........sneaks in quietly hoping no-one notices she's been gone a week.........
Hello peeps,
Sorry but still haven't had a chance to catch up with the posts. We had a great time Friday and I spent £24 for a family ticket into the caves. Also did a large online shop, this has stocked up the cupboards which were bare and, other than milk, bread, fruit & veg, and should see us through till September. Hoping to manage all the sfd's but we'll see. Haven't got much else planned for August, but have realised daughter also needs trainers for school as her feet have grown and school doesn't allow the trainers she has at home.
Hope everyone's well!

Sorry not to have checked in much this week . . . had some crazy busy days for work that involved being out of the office all day. Hate getting the forum on my phone - too small and terrible for posting, and don't often get my lap top out at home at the moment . . . I'm also hankering for an iPad!
Also because of the being out of the office has resulted in several small spending days. All necessaries . . . but killed my chances of making anything like the threshold for this monthTotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -
Hi all
Quick check in from me. It's been a busy but not too spendy day today.
Went into work - I'd gotten the GCSE results online, but was really hoping to see a couple of my year 11's. I saw two of the four I'd really wanted to catch up with. They'd done better than I could have hoped and I'm really very proud of most of them.
Then took the kids to the park and met up with a friend of mine for a bit of a catch up. We spent £5.90 on drinks and ice cream, which was worth it for a place to sit down and catch up while the kids could run about.
My sister has just been round to meet the foster cats as well. It's no secret at all now that I really want to keep the mum cat. She's beautiful, so laidback and placid. We all want to keep her, however, our female cat is nowhere near ready to tolerate her. Our male cat (the poorly one) is fine with both foster cats now but there doesn't seem to be any progress with the female. I know it's still early days but not sure what else I can try with them. The foster cats are getting a bit bored now being stuck in one room.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
I Love all of this cat talk (injuries aside- poor kitty- get well soon!),
Just had to shift my cat (Little Bill) off of my laptop so I can partake in a lil update (Sorry Bill, I know it's warm but human needs to type now).

Ha ha!!!
Love all the cat talk now - and glad ours isn't the only one that sits on top of the computer whenever I'm trying to type. He is like - 'stop giving that screen and tappy thing so much attention!!! Stroke ME!!!' Yesterday, I think I prised him off my keyboard 4 times before getting fed up and shutting him out the room until I'd finished typing lol.
Today = SFD number 16
Oh look - chickpea surprise again for dinner tonight!!! <the surprise being that it's actually quite yummy!!!>
Living a good life - a cupboard clearout is always very therapeutic!!! When Kat started these threads - it was always the stipulation that we run them down before buying in new food... I think I lost that somewhere along the way!!! It's a good feeling looking in and seeing it nearly bare!!!

Abundant I'm thinking about reintroducing that.. I'm even buying more than I need sometimes!!! Thanks for the reminder... Mwah ha haaa!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Evening all,
All my budgets are coming to their ends and payday is no longer a speck on the horizon.. It's on Tuesday!
SFD 12/20. I don't think I'll make the full 20 as I have 2 spending days planned for next week.. It'll be close!
Budgets-
Fuel/car- £50/50 exactly!
Food- £123/120. £3 over. I can live with that. First time I've set a budget. It really helped in sticking to it having a number for the month. Pleased with myself!
Milk- £26/25. Again a little over. But I took the decision to get 3x 4 pints vs one 6 pint. This budget will be greatly reduced as we have successfully made the transition from Lactofree to normal cows milk. Woot!
So that's me for the month, other than racking up some more SFDs hopefully! Next month is going to be very tough. Lots and lots of bigger outgoings, sigh. More cash generating needed!!
Re cats- I have a Bengal who thinks she's a tiger! I too buy in bulk online and I have a big plastic container with a snap lock lid. She otherwise breaks in and helps herself! Little greedy guts! HahaDebt at LBM June 2013- £31,300

Hi all
It's almost the weekend:D. Ok confession time - I'm not going to make my 20 SFD this month:o.
Budgets
Food - £122/£150;
Misc - [STRIKE]£150/£150[/STRIKE];
SFD - 8/20
I also don't have much left in the food budget but hopefully it will stretch to next Wed. I really don't need very much as it is a bank holiday and OH is still doing tons of overtime
