Right then. Sig updated to the expenditure for the month so far. not bad for day 9 courtesy of Mumsie feeding me for the beginning:T:T:T. Currently clutching a slightly over limed juice which is rank and am the butt of many an office joke. However I shall take in my stride and poison their coffee:D.

Secured three more OT shifts for the month, awaiting confirmation on another 2. Having not sent through the proper forms last month, all in all I might be able to pay off a further £1200 in October - but good grief I have to wait THAT long to find out. :o

I am literally going to rake in as much OT now as possible so if I am able to get debt free sooner than the 31.12.2013 I will go home at Christmas for an extended break... So I have £2223 to go, this deduction and Septembers minimal £450 overpayment will take care of all but £573 which might be taken care of with OT gained in September which might mean last payment MIGHT be in November. Does that make sense?

    I think it's all a little wishful thinking - but I can hope!:T:T:T

That's great news Kat, hope you manage it!

Just sold £20 worth of cake making stuff, with someone else hopefully collecting another £20 worth soon. On top of that I've sold some cookbooks for £10 and a DVD for £3 so over £50 made today - all local as well so no Ebay fees! Yay! Also did some work from home cover for my brother this morning so that's another £40 although I don't know when I'll get that as he lives abroad.

Ebay items finishing Sunday - can I make enough in total to pay off my remaining £125 CC balance?! Lets see!
    My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.

    :T Wooooo! Lilian1977 You are on a Role!!!:T

Kat Is there really a 13th month this year??! :p

LAGL Absolutely love your wake-up call this morning- really made me chortle!

Love all of this dens woods and camping chat! Really want to go and set up my own little den in the garden now...with rations for the 'Midnight Feast!'

3/20 SFD's- Yesterday was a spend free day, as I worked from home, then went over to the OH's for a cuppa and a catch up with his family :)

Had to put £10 fuel in the rust bucket today, I always get that tiny little bit of anxiety when trying to put enough fuel in to to reach a round number. The number of times I've been caught out by 1p and end up cursing. Sometimes the 1p sometimes appears after i've put the fuel cap back on my car...?? I swear the people at the tills sit there chortling to themselves by adding that surprise penny to irritate my mini OCD!

Annnnnnyway, I am meant to be off to a friend's this eve for Birthday drinks. I'm yet to hear from her though so may be I could have a party in my pj's with a cup of tea at home instead... :)

    Happy Weekend one and all!

Glad to report today has been a NSD so total is 3/9 so far and weekend of shopping and playing cricket, could be done on the extreme cheap as much as possible.

Go go Lillian sounds like you're doing very well :)

Price comparing online as we speak, no point over paying for the same goodies :P

LSD, how would you fancy some used wallpaper? Have removed plenty this week already but it's a bit wet and in pieces :P

Not much else to report other than already said.

ust a few more things to buy on Monday so two SFD's hopefully coming up..

Hasn't been a thrilling day other than that..(boring NSK).. but shall be checking in again tomorrow night when I am at work (2300) so be good until then and have a wondrous start to the weekend!!!

Good evening everyone. just a quick check in from me. Nothing new to report - all budgets still the same as when I last posted (I had cream crackers and cottage cheese for dinner rather than go shopping!!). Out earning money tomorrow so a quiet weekend is on the cards, but I really need petrol and a supermarket run so I guess my run of SFDs will be over.

My figures then for August are...
    Food: £20.83/£50
    Petrol: £0/£50
    SFD: 5/20
    Misc: £23.48/£100

    Morning all:)

I'm still sitting with 3 SFDs and I don't think I will capture anymore until tomorrow cowgirl-041.gif. It's not easy as they run very fast.

I did have a spendy yesterday and I'm going to head to the shops today as I'm after some shorts and cheap tops for holiday. I'm going to those expensive emporiums - Primark & TK Maxx:D

I also have a little trip to Asda planned but of course I will do my best to spend as little as possible :)
