Evening AAAers! My bi-daily (?) update-

Today made 4/20 SFDs, of which 2 in a row! I'm out and about tomorrow but don't plan on spending anything, not until Saturday for my Mums bday. Though saying that I am still to get her a gift :/

So no food or petrol spends. Not a very exciting update tonight.. All quiet on the western front!

Money generating wise- no bids on my items on eB.ay yet. They all end on Saturday. Relisted my wheels for sale which I hope will bring in 400, but will accept 300. Fingers crossed on that. Much lower fees this time too.

Something I ordered on 25th July has only just been dispatched with no reasons for it taking sooooo long. Plan to complain tomorrow and hopefully get p&p refunded.

Not a NSD for me - I had to give my friend £10 towards my other friends Birthday present its a big one!!! it will come out of my entertainment budget as will the money I will spend at her party on Sat if I go! I'm on call so will either have to drive or have to get someone else to do Sat night on call for me! I don't really want to drive when all the girls are going to be getting merry but not sure I can justify swapping my on-call!

Apart from that it was a NSD. I was tempted to go to Zumba which would of cost £4.50 but went to the gym instead which is paid monthly by DD. Was also tempted to stop at shops on way home for something nice for tea - but came home and mad pasta instead! Was treated to lunch at the canteen as a colleague who I sometimes have lunch with owes me a couple of lunches as she always forgets her purse!

So not too bad a day! Hopefully can do a NSD tomorrow!
  • Spend day for me today, my fridge is happy again!! £6.50 in Morrisons on reduced fruit and veg, and £7 in Aldi on milk, bread etc. Daughter 1 came to visit and brought dinner with her, lovely big pizza and giant bag of buttons :)
    Total debt - £16,687.86 approx. - Paid so far - £13,156.30 - £350. a month to DMP - DFD 17/01/2019 But I WILL make it sooner!!

    Morning!!!

    Nearly weekend :j

Funds from EF cleared and final payment off credit card made today. That felt good. I have a small re-occurring payment on there that finishes in April - but I budget for that amount each month anyway, and will be clearing my account every month (supposed to help with credit scoring?).

Will be a SFD today but won't confirm until I get home later tonight. Aiming for the gym later on too.

Have a good day all. Going to splash myself with cold water!!! Will probably find I've been asleep and am actually dreaming typing this ha ha!!! Me + mornings = :undecided

    Morning,

Yesterday was not the NSD I had planned!

I I'd been to a BBQ on Saturday where we had halloumi and really fancied some yesterday. I bought some on my way home from work, I only spent £2.47 so can't beat myself up too much ha!

I could have lied and pretended it was a NSD ha but what's the point!

    Have a good day!

  • Morning all :D

You lot have been a busy bunch when I had one day off from the computer. I've read everything - people seem to be doing really well with the August challenge... all except for me :o

I had another spendy day yesterday - car was desperate for liquid gold. Plus I got my sister some coffee that was on offer in S'burys, but she will pay me back for that. Plus the four of us had a long afternoon at the coast walking and treasure hunting, so we went for dinner at a pub on the way home (£21.24 for all 4 of us as I had a voucher).

When I sat and totalled everything up I realised just how quickly this month's money is disappearing, so I've set the kids the challenge of thinking of things that we can do that won't cost anything. We'll see what they come up with.

    Hello all,

I've been MIA for most of the challenge, hit a bit of a blip but back on track now.

Not quite sure where I am with my spendning already! Spent £60 on the weekly shop which I was pleased with but have had a few unplanned lunches out. Only 2 NSDs so far too. Off to catch up on all your gossip & news xx

Some bad planning due to tiredness means rather than having a lovely little NSD today I ended up having to buy top up on my new cheap phone of mine, silly me, a school boy error on my behalf has cost me so dearly.

I will make doubly sure I have everything necessary before continuing in my moments of madness.

Keep up the amazing work everyone, we're all here to support each other :)
