Evening all from up North!! Made it to Scotland - 600 miles in 9 hrs and 45 minutes! Two small stops for "relief" and fuel

Still no news on our potential buyer and no viewings through estate agents as yet. DH under instruction to talk with our chap before he comes up on Friday or else he will be sent back on the next flightAs yet no one else has bought middle earth - PHEW!!
Anyway - working now Im at my Mum and Dads - childcare on tap!! :j

Oh Mrs Toast, what a gorgeous little poppet if a baby - you must be thrilled, congratulations!
A SFD here for me, first day at work was a real shocker - everyone is completely disorganised, timetables not finished, classrooms not sorted. I'm sure we'll get there in the end but it's going to be a bit of a palaver!Trying to keep in budget.

Good evening AAAs
A SFD for me today. I've been in work and imagine it'll be the same tomorrow. So total is now 3/20SFD. Woop! Yesterday was the Lidl shop. Managed to keep on budget- £41.03/120 Food/Lidl shops and on target.
No spends on fuel- £0/40 so far. On the subject had my car tax renewal come through for end of the month. Last year it was £160, this year- £200!! Ouch! Things like this, car insurance etc all make me wish I had money aside every month to cover these such, expected, expenses.. Anyway, I digress.
Some items on eBay ending at the weekend, so fingers crossed they sell. Going to try some other selling sites for a set of alloys I have that so far haven't sold on Gumtree nor eBay
Well done everyone! Keep going! We got this!Debt at LBM June 2013- £31,300

Hi Mrs Toast - congratulations, she is gorgeous:)
NSD no 2 today:). I was volunteering at a race today and they had promised us lunch/dinner. There was no sign of any food appearing and coffees were £3. So I just had to ask - ok I wasn't starving but I hadn't budgeted the spends and I wanted another SFD:o. I got my sarnie and saved money:)

If you don't ask you don't get, shy bairns get nowt as they say where I'm from! Well done Munchin!
I didn't manage a NSD as I needed change for the bus so had to spend 55p(!) On some mints, so a low spend day which I'm pleased with.
I also managed to get my next veg box delivery free woohoo! I signed up for a 'fourth box free' offer about 8 weeks ago - I get a veg and salad box every two weeks and it works out cheaper for me - but for some reason they had it down to charge me this week. I got on the web chat thingy with them and bobs your uncle its all free, result!
PS baby Maisie's looking good!0 -
Lovely Pic Mrs Toast!
2/20 SFD's- today included. Have also dropped off my food bank items.
Keep getting caught out with little spends to get bits for the car in prep for it's M.O.Tea in the morning. Engine oil here, a bulb there, nearly forgetting to put fuel in the old beast. *Fingers crossed* that it won't set me back too much and I won't be without my broom broom for too long!
I am still very very patiently waiting for my damage deposit cheque to arrive...tum tee tum.
Noight noight for now AAA Moneysavers and DFWs!:coffee:

I feel the need to share a picture which will ultimately surmise what a County Fair is made of just in case any of you are unsure...so may I present what my day consisted of....
Although I think I prefer the picture of Maise! Thank you Mrs Toast for sharing a lovely picture of your precious little bub! She is gorgeous! I'm not broody honest... no serious I think I need to know what a real boyfriend is first! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Moving on... look now at all these posts! Am so chuffed with you all for the progress you are making!
Dan is must be hard managing to live between two properties but am glad you are currently living rent free. I am glad you managed to get rid of one debt (did I read that right ) even if you are low on funds now. It's nice to chalk one off the list! So well done!
Matt embrace your girlfriends cooking and baking. Compliment her regularly and she won't give up if something goes a little wrong..:rotfl:..Great to have home made goodies though! Is she generally on board with this money-saving or is it just you?
Munchin seems like it was the day for races/fairs in Northern Ireland...:T Glad you got your food though. I was good and only spent £0.50p on a crepe with the other £2 for it coming from a mother/brother donation. I was very good cause Daddy paid the entrance fee...#spoiledbrat..:p
LAGL... well done on your trip! good grief what a journey. Might do it on Hercules someday! I have my fingers crossed for Middle Earth!!
Giggal I am super impressed with that eBay sell. But the meds spends is still an SFD. That's an exemption as it's not something I would ever encourage to avoid not buying. So count that on your SFD sheet. Don't worry about your move either - you will have a roof over your head and living on your own... you will be super strict when you are in there and DEFINITELY on your own. It's the psychology of it all... don't worry we are here to help...:rotfl:
Right thats all the shout outs for now.. I gotta snooze! The chicken is called Daisy by the way..
Onwards and Upwards!!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
SFD for me so 2/20! Slowly but surely I will get there! Love the chicken!0
