Some advice please. These stupid touch screens, when I scoll etc I sometimes hit the scam or report button but don't mean it. But the it's already too late. Anything I can do to reverse it?
Thanks
I wouldn't worry about it, I think it only shows on your screen that you've reported it as spam and unless other people also report it as spam nothing will happen, and even then the MSE will look at it before they remove it.0 -

HollieinBloom - love that you are treating the OH. I think it sounds like he deserves it with a promo and his birthday! Hope it's wrapped in some seriously innapropriate childrens wrapping paper just for a laugh..:)
I have peppa pig paper or ones with trucks and diggers on...although I think I might go to card factory and find something with princesses on
hehe. I got him a toblerone and will wrap that and pretend that's all he has got then let my DD bring it out to him and just say "hollie got you a little something" Can't wait to see his face!

Happy I love that your Mum said what she did. I think parents are more than happy to help out when they see you are changing things for the better despite the struggle. It means she gets to spend her money on things she knows you need as opposed to buying something that is not helpful but in order to buy her grandkiddies something... see this whole open and honest policy will change Great Britian one person at a time..
Thanks Kat ~ it was so fabulous to have her here and she was amazing. She bought DD1 shoes, blouses and a few 'treats' when she took her out on Friday and then bought DS2 plimsolls, shirts and a few 'treats' yesterday (DS1 didn't need anything as he's at college but she did give him a bit of pocket money instead).
Congratulations Mrs Toast on the safe arrival of baby Maisie ~ hope all is going well!
Apologies for being AWOL for a few days but I barely went near the laptop while Mum was here.
Friday was a SFD. Saturday I needed milk and a few bits. Sunday was a SFD. Monday I went out with Mum and DS2 to get his things. I was only allowed to pay bus fare for myself and son but that was all, so it was a very cheap day. Booked cinema tickets on Monday too as I was spending anyway (hubby and I are actually going tonight and will take snacks/drinks with us).
Mum left this morning to go home(we're going up to Yorkshire at end of Oct to see her but haven't told the kids...............shhhhhh!!). Today will be a SFD too. Kids are off to hubby's parents this evening to stay for a few nights. We've been invited to dinner Thurs evening and will then bring them home so I should have 2 quiet SFD's this week!
Hope everyone's week is going well ~ keep smiling!!0 -
Hello all
Well firstly, congrats to Mrs Toast and welcome to little Maisie! Good luck with everything xx
Secondly, remember this last month?

Gutted to say the least but it does go to show how easy it is to spend money when you're not thinking about it, and also has reassured me that the 6 or 7 savings accounts I have that have between £5 and £20 a month being paid in for future holidays are definitely worth doing as I didn't save anything for this long weekend and it's ruined my plans to save.
Shocked to say the least but I will learn from this mistake and move on.
Welll - drum roll - I was being stupid and hadn't realised that my balance DIDN'T include my overdraft limit! So I actually still had most of it left - YAY!
Reimbursed some savings accounts and made a lump sum payment onto my 0% credit card so can adjust my spreadsheets again now.

Renewed our membership to Eureka yesterday using a 10% off coupon, DS still gets a cheap membership as he's 2 (£3.75 rather than £10.95!), he's 3 in January but this will last until next August. We took a picnic so the only spend was coffee (DH) so that we could sit in the cafe rather than the picnic area. I also bought a small gift for a friend's son whose party we have next weekend. Redeemed a voucher from filling in a survey for a free gift - a notepad, pencil and badge. DS is too young at the moment but I might put them away and "pretend" to buy them from the gift shop when he's old enough, haha!
Birthday weekend ends today with bowling (spends from pre-sorted envelopes) then the NSDs start in earnest tomorrow.
BL and snacks from stores, dinner is in a bundle with the bowling (£12 for a game and a meal). Sorted out banking and ready to start AAA tomorrow!

Hello All,
Yesterday was a SFD 4/20. Not feeling great so not in the mood to go spending money! lol
Today should be a NSD too, even skipped out of contributing to a work collection is that bad? I will donate on a day when I need to spend money!

Just read some of the thread first mentioned by Moneymash about the 26yr old saver on minimum wage. Very inspiring, makes me really think about our lifestyle (not that we're frivolous spenders or anything) and how much more I could achieve.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Not much to report today. I am going to a friend's for dinner this evening. Hate arriving empty handed, so might have to sacrifice a SFD to a bottle of elderflower cordial (I'll be driving) or something. It wouldn't be so bad not bringing anything, except my current living situation makes it difficult to return the favour.
What do other people do? Accepting an invite for free food - v. MSE. But feeling rude if you don't bring anything?!Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

We always bring sth. If it's tight we ask if we can bring desert and I'd make muffins or chocolate mousse etc from the cupboard. Or a bottle lurking in the kitchen that someone else brought earlier (just make sure it's not the same people)

As promised a better breakdown of my expenses so far this month:
Entertainment - £43.14
Food Shopping - £76.57
Fuel - £102.84
Misc: - £44.95
Repayments (Loan/Mortgage/C.C.) - £1,879.88
Hope that is clear as mud to you all, please bear in mind that I am catering for 2 places, one where I currently live rent free with a family member and also a place that I will be moving into as and when it is renovated which is an hour's drive away.
I am very pleased to say that certain bills have been repaid and finances looking a bit thin on the ground but at least am slightly debt-free'r.
On one over-payment of a very small deposit has according to a useful over-payment calculator has saved myself £152 in interest alone on top of repaying that mortgage 2 months earlierHappy Days.
On top of that I have currently made 2 NSD out of 6 (inclusive of today) so far and as today is a spending day as I have got a journey to my new home for further works to be done which I am doing myself as well as taking a packed lunch instead of a pub grub.2013 Goals - Credit Card - Repaid in full on 06/08/2013 - £1,313.92 / Mortgage 1 - Repaid £865.96/£3,500.00 / Mortgage 2 - Repaid £1,132.74/£3,650.00 / Loan 1 - Repaid £571.30/£1,983.64 / Loan 2 - Repaid £318.97/£3,026.01
