That's my point - the time we noted on our phones (2 sets of phones) which was just after the wheels touched the tarmac at Reus airport - which was 11:40 (GMT)
I've kept the timings in GMT to not confuse the 1 hour time difference between countries.
Scheduled arrival time: 09:25 Spanish time, so 08:25 (GMT)
Actual landing time 11:40 (GMT)
Delay: 3:15
In the second link: (i61.tinypic.com/33wpmc1.jpg , add http:// to the beginning) you can see that the time was adjusted 2 minutes after the plane landed so the delay has been adjusted to 179 minutes; 1 minute under the 3 hour mark, instead of the 195 minutes of actual delay, which is possibly longer if it's to the time the doors on the plane open.
The row before, shows actual landing time as 11:39 (GMT) which was then "adjusted" - Is there any way of verifying the actual landing time and not an adjusted time so I can prove the delay?

Flightstats is not accurate enough for this fine level of timing. You may need to contact the airport for clarification. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Hi,
We were on Flight TCX 3512 on 27/05/15 (Glasgow to Antalya). We were scheduled to depart 9.30am and delayed 12 hours till 9.30pm.
We were told that it was a faulty fuel gauge. Do you think we would stand a chance claiming?
Thanks, and if you need any more info, just let me know.
Thanks in advance,

Thanks Glentoran, should we take the lazy route and go No Win No Fee then? If so, is there one anyone would recommend?0 -

Hello just thought I'd drop a line to say unfortunately I was unsuccessful. I fully expected to be to be honest - our flight was delayed due to a bird strike - it hit the engine as the plane came into land at Mahon Airport, Minorca. The Spanish engineers checked it and said it was okay, but the pilot wasn't happy and they called British engineers to come over from London to check. We finally left Mahon 8 hours later than the scheduled time - but I guess it was for safety reasons. Wouldn't have been happy if there had been problems mid-flight because they didn't check it properly. I just thought I'd ask and see if they would give compensation - but they said No0

PPE - bird strike is probably not considered an EC (but opinions vary)
Do not give up so easily! Try a good NWNF such as Bott as an example, see what they say, whether or not you have a valid claim. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Wow! Really?? Thank You!!
So do I press them further? They quoted that case in their response and said
"A recent Supreme Court decision in the case of Huzar vs. Jet2.com, has resulted in a change to how EC Regulation 261/2004 is interpreted. This is the Regulation that provides for compensation payments for flight delays so we wanted to check if the outcome from your previous claim has changed as a result of this.
Following the review, under EC Regulation 261/2004 your case has been re-assessed and I can see from the aviation report that your delay was caused by a bird strike to the aircraft intended to operate your flight. Based on this information under EC Regulation 261/2004, delays due to bird strikes were not affected by the court ruling and remain classified as extraordinary circumstances, therefore I am unable to offer you compensation for your claim."
I don't want to involve NWNF if I can avoid it - any suggestions?0
