You are being fobbed off with the latest excuse.
Have you issued an NBA? If not then do so.
If you have then commence legal action or employ services of a NWNF firm.

    What is an NBA?

  • I was due to fly to Sweden for the weekend from london with Norwegian air and received a message 15 hours before departure to say the flight was cancelled due to strike action. I have rearranged the flights for a later date free of charge.
    Am i still due compensation?
    thanks

    No. It does not.
  • Hi, I was bumped of my flight to London Luton as it was full. they transferred me to the flight to Gatwick an hour later. i contacted easy jet from the airport, they promised me transportation into London from Gatwick as I had made arrangements for arrival into Luton, they also sent me an email that they are processing my 600 Euro compensation. in the end they backed out of it all, saying that legaly they only need to give me 300 Euro and no transport costs, as they arranged an alternative flight within 3 hours.

Any one had a similar experience?

    Thank you.

After six months of persistence and initial denial of compensation rights my partner recently received £480 following a seven hour delay followed by a missed connection resulting in an overall twelve hour delay on a booking to Sydney with a major non-EU carrier. It was a horrendous experience for my partner who had never made even a single flight on her own before.

Persistence seems to be the key, plus the excellent advice of this forum.
