I don't think this is quite right. I understood that if the Supreme Court agrees to the appeal (in November) the case itself won't be heard until mid-2015. There is a press release on their website which explains timings.

Hello all, I have a quick question I wonder if someone could help with?

I was delayed 9 hours in August heading to bourgas airport flying with BH Air.

Used Martin's template shortly after, emailed and sent it via post (ignored) I followed the email up several weeks later and this time cc'd the Bulgarian CAA in.

The CAA responded to my email by sending it straight to the CEO of BH Air telling him to respond to me by the 8 October.

No response received so I have sent another email today using the notice of intention template stating I will be following up in the small claims court if no response in 14 days.

My question is this - after reading your instructions Vauban it states that if the airline has a uk address this can be used. BH Air is based in Sofia however their holiday company Balkan Holidays (who I booked with) has a base in the uk - can I name the holiday company in a small claim?

No. You can only take action against the airline. Not related co-companies.

Hi All

New to this so apologies if I'm in the wrong thread/forum.

I am trying to start a compensation claim for a delayed flight from Manchester to Corfu in July 2011.

We arrived in Corfu 12 hours later than scheduled.
There was little explanation and eventually discovered our plane was grounded in Lisbon and we would have to wait for a replacement ro be flown to manchester.

My problem is I cannot find any direct email addressfor olympic air. I know they changed from olympic airways in 2009 to olympic air but I can't find a way of contacting them to start the compensation procedure.
I have a copy of my original booking form from the travel agents with flight numbers on (which also I cant trace on the fly stats website).
I at a loss as to what to do?
Has any one else made a claim through this airline?
I would appreciate any help

Can anyone tell me if you can claim from the travel company for a 20 and a half hour delay and your own insurance for the delay:)
