Hi everyone,
I am trying to make a claim for back in Jul 2008, however i dont have a copy of our flight tickets, all i have is the flight number (TCX13) and proff from the stamp in my passport. Will this be enough or will they need more evidence??
Any help would be gratefully recieved.0 -

You could try asking Thomas Cook.
However I cant see them going out of their way to help you.
Especially if they think you will use the information in order to claim money from them!I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left!0 -

I just thought it was shocking the way he described me. :OIMHO you are wasting your time writing to the airline.
As expected and warned of in Centipede100 post they are not going to send the cheque without a fight.
TBHO you should instigate court procedings if you are seriously after the compensation.
Good luck
I know, but I still need a question answered that I asked last night...
When I submit the LBA giving them 14 days notice do I lodge my complaint at the Small Claims Court at the same time or do I actually need to wait 14 days?0 -

With a small claims case you should be able to show that you have given the defendant a reasonable time to respond and repair whatever "damage" they have caused (Not a lawyer so these terms are mine )
So (IMHO) the usual practice is to send a LBA giving them a reasonable time (14 or 7 days) and then once that has passed, start the procedings.
If it ever goes to court you can then prove you were reasonable.
You've waited 3 years so I'd go for the 14 day option TBHO0 -
