A birdstrike will have been reported to the relevant authorities.
If the bird strike was suspected on landing at Dalaman, why did they load you all on BEFORE doing the inspection?
Get a deadlock letter then go to CEDRIf you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
The alleged Ringleader.........0 -
When actually did the alleged bird strike happen? Captain says no damage Easyjet says yes damage me thinks they are trying to screw you over0

I would take it to CEDR, an alternative dispute resolution service that easyJet uses. Keep in mind that it is easyJet that must prove that extraordinary circumstances obtained, not for you to prove the opposite. You will need to ask easyJet for a deadlock letter before filing a claim with CEDR.
I didn't know this. So burden of proof is with them?A birdstrike will have been reported to the relevant authorities.

I had the EXACT same thought! Why would we be boarded? Why not cancel straight away? I thought they might twist it and claim that actually they meant while it was sitting at Dalaman? IDK.When actually did the alleged bird strike happen? Captain says no damage Easyjet says yes damage me thinks they are trying to screw you over
This is the thing, I don't know. We boarded the plane as usual, no apparent delay. We were only told while on the plane that an engineer was then being called out. So it seems that the "strike" happened while on the ground.
I was wondering, if the plane did in fact suck in a bird to its engines, but the delay was primarily over paperwork, would this claim still count? The engineer said very quickly there was no damage.
I'm also frustrated because the person in front and to my left made recordings and I didn't get his contact details. Stupid of me.0 -

Yes. No point overthinking things at this stage, just go through CEDR and easyJet will submit whatever evidence they have.0 -
So after having no repsonse from Vuelling, I escalated my claim to the CAA yesterday and got this reply. (I could scream!)
Dear Passenger,
Thank you for your email about your claim with Vueling Airlines.
I can see from your correspondence that you have written to the airline using the online facility Resolver.
Unfortunately, Vueling Airlines have advised that the email address that claims are being sent to from Resolver is incorrect and have advised that any claims need to be registered via the airline website for consideration.
Therefore, we would suggest that you register your complaint directly with the airline using the link below:
https://www.vueling.com/en/we-are-vueling/contact/send-us-a-message
Please ensure that you keep a dated copy of the complaint for your own records. You should allow them at least 8 weeks to respond. If, when you receive the airline’s response, you require help or advice, or if they do not respond to you within the timescale, please register your complaint with us via our online portal.

The following link to the CAA’s website provides more information on your entitlements and about the claims process: https://www.caa.co.uk/Passengers/Resolving-travel-problems/
Yours sincerely,

When I try to file a claim with Vueling I keep getting the message "Your claim could not be sent , please try later"......................0

This happened initially when I tried to file a claim with Vueling which is why I ended up going with Resolver to sort0

We arrived back in the UK form canary islands 3 hrs and 25 minute last week. I submitted a claim but it's has been refused due to in flight damage in previous sector classed as extraordinary circumstances. However, the pilot stated that a plane in Malaga hah technical issues and as the airline didn't have a spare aircraft he sent ours creating our delay. In our opinion they decided to send our plane knowing that we would be delayed and therefore created the delay due to them not havibg a spare aircraft. We have disputed this just wondering other people's thoughts.0
