Just use easyJet s webform on the website.
Then download Vaubans superb guide to see how to go forward. Resolver is nothing different to doing it yourself, with your control. Browse the easyJet thread for my recent claim for compensation and expenses claim.

  • Just wondered I claimed on my travel insurance as technically we were delayed for 4 days when Easyjet cancelled our flights due to a travel strike in Greece. We couldn’t find another flight from Bristol to Corfu at all so had to fly from Luton a 7 hour journey from Devon! We got all our money back plus some more.Could I still make a claim against the airline too?

Possibly, but you need to give us far more details.

    Question 8, States

Were you re-routed or did you opt for a refund?

    answers/options

    Re-routed

    Refund ??

wasn't offered the reroute, quite the opposite
we did not opt for the refund either, this was the only option offered to us so we didn't opt for it

    completed anyway
  • Hi, we have received our compensation for our delayed flight of 21 hours. We got the same amount as people who ae delayed by just 3 hours. Our lengthy delay meant that we lost a whole day of our holiday and only got 13 nights in Crete rather than the 14 nights we paid for. HAs anybody successfully claimed for a lost day's holiday please? Friends of ours were AI so not only lost a night at their hotel but also a whole day of facilities which they had included in their package and TUI have said that they aren't entitled to anything other than the basic delay payment which was due to them under the EU ruling. Thank you.

    Completed.
Why does this not include denied boarding cases?
Question is is poor. It needs more options, like my flight was cancelled. I was not given the option of re-routing.
You can expect my response was scathing both of the CAA and airlines at every opportunity ;)

  • I realise you are not able to make a compensation claim for delayed flights due to bad weather but I am not clear whether the bad weather relates to the airport you are leaving from or a flight due in from another airport which is delayed due to bad weather at that airport?

We had a flight booked from Belfast last Sunday which was delayed for more than 3 hours. This was due to bad weather in Cyprus. The same plane from Cyprus was flying to Newcastle then back to Belfast. The weather in Belfast was fine. We were going from Belfast to Newcastle.

Does this qualify or not? I am unsure. Can anyone advise?
    Thanks!

So your flight was delayed due to a weather issue 2 flights previously?
Then I would say that is probably not an EC if weather didn't affect your flight or the previous leg directly.

It is the airline's problem that they usually have such a short time between arrival and departure, which allows no wiggle room.
