I'm sitting scoffing my face with twink recipe hobnobs as I read!!!! They are delicious and one large batch hasn't kept us going for very long. DH has given them the big thumbs up as well - photographic evidence on sammy-kayne's £100 pcm grocery challenge!

I have just overdone a baking sheets worth, darn it. They are still edibkle, just a bit on the barbequed side.

Luckily I have some hobnob mix in the freezer so can make some more without too much hassle. Am very pleased to report that freezing the mixture works fine - I prefer to freezer some rather than bake the whole lot as it saves me from pigging out!

I open-froze in ready to bake ball-size pieces, then p[opped them into a sandwich bag when they had gone hard. Mrs M put the idea into my head. :j

Reporting back - vegan very very fussy mum tried and tested hobnobs and taken rest home with her. (She didn't cotton on at first and asked me three times if I had read the ingredients on the packet!!)

Twink deserves the highest accolade (when I've thought what it is).

    Thank you very very much.
