just want to say thanks to twink for this recipe, my husband and i think they are gorgeous and he is now addicted to them, :T :T0

oh shame, hope you find them soon
anyway, I found one of those Silverwood 'bake-any-size-of-square-cake' tins that I'd forgotten I had & used the base of that & they're absolutely wonderful! :T
I've had to send 'parcels' of them to my daughter & her partner & to my Ex (although he really doesn't deserve them!)
now I'm going to experiment with brown sugar & different flours
brilliant Twink, thanks :A0 -
its great that everyone is liking the hobnobs and i think they are quite good for adapting to use some other ingredients0

I have to agree Twinks hobnobs are fantastic.....
I make a batch a week now and they are all eaten within 2 days( not all by me either My DSs who dont like flapjacks of any description love them also
So a :T from me alsofurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
I agree too.... I make them so that DS (3) can have something to eat when he gets out of his swimming lesson. I like how the oats are slow burning and I know exactly what it is in them. I love the way they come out really crunchy...next time I'll try them with a little chocolate brushed on
:-)
