    I've had to send 'parcels' of them to my daughter & her partner & to my Ex (although he really doesn't deserve them!)
    now I'm going to experiment with brown sugar & different flours

    its great that everyone is liking the hobnobs and i think they are quite good for adapting to use some other ingredients

    As a newbie to this baking lark (only started since I found this website :rolleyes:) I just though that I would report that I have just made Twinks Hob Nobs and after stringent taste testing....
    just out of oven............
    slightly cooled..........
    with coffee..............
    without coffee.......you get the idea :rotfl:. I am pleased to report that these are blooming lovely and really straight forward to make

    I have to agree Twinks hobnobs are fantastic.....
    I make a batch a week now and they are all eaten within 2 days :o ( not all by me either My DSs who dont like flapjacks of any description love them also

    I agree too.... I make them so that DS (3) can have something to eat when he gets out of his swimming lesson. I like how the oats are slow burning and I know exactly what it is in them. I love the way they come out really crunchy...next time I'll try them with a little chocolate brushed on

    yep! found i needed slightly more of the dried bits than usual. Also slung in a dessert spoon of cinnamon. They are really scrummy...
