I made my first lot of Twink's hobnobs this week too - bloomin' lurvely thanks Twink!

I used the weights in the original recipe so were overwhelmed with the numbers I've made! D'oh! You'd think I'd figure out how to scale it down for a singleton!

I'm taking some to church tomorrow and I've frozen some (post baking), will they be okay once they've defrosted? Or would I have better results freezing the mixture then baking them after? I don't know if anyone will be able to answer this question 'cos all the other posts are about how Twink's hobnobs are eaten within the day!
  • well i have some in a tin (promised mum & dad i'd take them some) but i can see me and OH eating a full batch,

i just halved everything and still had two baking trays full

not sure they would stay crisp so long after being defrosted but think they freeze rolled in balls ok

I make these for packed lunches sometimes, and I HAVE to put them in the freezer asap so we dont eat all of them!!!! We like them chewy rather than crispy, and have found them fine after defrosting.
  • I too was thinking about making some, will search for recipe.
