Lol, I had to make some more of these, special request from OH. The last lot only lasted three days ... I used honey instead of syrup and added some chopped stem ginger, and they're really good0

You have inspired me to give these a go....but I don't seem to be very good at baking! When I (gently) squashed the biscuits down with a fork before putting them in the oven, they all sort of broke up (??). I thought maybe they needed a bit more butter to bind them, so added the little bit I had left.
Should they be crumbling like this?? They are in the oven at the moment - they looked easy enough to make, but now I am thinking that even easy recipes are too hard for me! :rolleyes:0 -

Mmmmmmmmmm, I made these for first time. Went down really well. Only used 6oz of everything and still made loads, think I will make even smaller balls next week when do some for agm at church.[FONT="][/FONT]0
