Out of interest, are you one of the people who has a problem with the couple in question?

I work in a job where I see literally thousands of people and families each day.
Generally, it's older men with younger women. But one thing that is always noticeable, the bigger the age gap, the richer the man is!

I don't think anyone 'has a problem' with them, as such. I wouldn't put it quite like that. (Oh except her mother, but she seems to have a problem with anything!) But I think a lot of the comments on this thread mirror what people are saying, eg. will she end up as his carer

Ha, I've no idea how well off he is, but I don't get the impression that he's loaded.

    .

Well, to that I say, it really is nobody's business. People know what they are signing up for when they get married, they should be left to it. If they are happy and love each other, then I can't see a problem whatever the age. I really wish people would keep their interfering busybody comments to themselves, what business is it of theirs anyhow? I know people will always talk about everything and anything, but somehow weddings seem to bring out the worst in people....rant over!

People as rich as he is will get all the care he needs but he'll pay for it.

Not really no, not the subject in question, more to do with interfering busybodies who have an opinion on everything, and can't just be happy for the couple. I mean, after all, what harm are they doing? Why can't people just live and let live?

There doesn't need to be an age gap either way for that to be a problem.
