I went to see TMO again yesterday to take my latest cashback claim, I handed over my 2 Bills and got the nice lady to sign for them too. This morning I receive a cheque for my cashback (don't know which account it's for as there was no reference and I have 2 accounts with them).

So it seems the only sure way to get your cashback is to deal with them face to face, sorry to those who are too far away :/

Why not some of you get together for a day out in Bradford? You could check out the curry houses while you're here. I'd like to see their faces if 10-20 of you turned up on their doorstep ;)

    All the best, Lee.
  • Sorry, I can't find my original post about a possible court hearing when I'm based in Northern Ireland. I've submitted my claim and phoned the court office and they verified that if they dispute the claim and ask for a hearing, then they have to go to the court that you issued the claim with, i.e. in my case they would have to come to Northern Ireland! This was actually specified in the long post on the page of this thread. Refer to it as it is very useful.

The only problem is that because they are outside my juristiction, it means that they have a longer deadline in which to reply. Also, problems may arise if they do not respond in which case I will have call the baliffs in from England which will be costly, but obviously this cost will be paid by myself but reimbursed by the respondent.

If I remember correctly someone posted about having their claim disputed and as a result they were told to go to a court of themobileoutlet's choice and was at a really inconvenient location. I'm not sure what went wrong with this poster's claim but something doesn't smell right with that situation.

I'm glad to hear someone has got their dosh anyway, i'm , as you say, too far away here in sunny sarf London to go there. I'm sure that there would be more than 10-20 disgruntled people that would love to turn up on their doorstep though if I had the time ! If it gets to 4 outstanding and a grand total of £336 to get out of the !!!!!!s, then I will be on the first train to Bradford !
  • Sorry to tell you I visted (4th Jan 2008) the address at Riverdale house in Dockfield Road Shipley to be told by the existing tenants that the mobile outlet left there in june 2007. I rang them from outside that address and they insisted that they were still at that address and they still post it on their web site

  • I'm very confused as to when I'm supposed to send in my first cashback claim. It states in their t&c on the website:

"If you have a 12 month contract in order to claim your Line Rental Entitlement (Cashback) you are required to do the following:
On Instalment Date 1 (120 days from and including the date of connection) send to us the Cashback Redemption Voucher Numbered 1 with a bill showing that you have been connected for a minimum of 120 days. "

But I have read in the general terms&conditions that they sent me (after I rang up requesting my cashback vouchers that they'd failed to send me in the first place) that I'm supposed to send in my bills 21 days after I receive my fourth bill. The problem is, I received my first bill in september, 4 days after ordering my phone, therefore, i received my 4th bill in december, 3 months(90 days) after the date of connection. I'm now quite unclear when I'm supposed to claim my first installment.
Any help would be much appreciated!!

    Hi,
don't think in terms of bill numbers - that was for the old T&Cs.
If the fourth bill shows you have been connected for only 90 days, it's not the right one to send is it?
Send the bill that shows you have been connected for 120 days....
Send it special delivery, and don't leave it till the last minute
Be sure to include ALL of the required documentation as per your copy of the T&C

I doubt it (unless they've been to their place of work). Has anyone had an email from them in the last 6 weeks?? (automated mails don't count).
