  • My TTC Stats:

    My Age/Partners age: 28/36
Time together: 9 years (married 3 years)
What are you waiting for?!: A slightly bigger house, sorting my head out.
When will you be TTC? 2015
Any preTTC prep? None. Came off the pill 2 years ago for medical reasons.
I'm taking my mind off TTC by... working. Trying to ignore friends and family who talk about nothing but pregnancy and children.

I've had a few problems with fibroids and lack of periods, been going on for 2-3 years. Well now the periods are happening every 5-6 weeks and I recently had a scan of my ovaries/uterus/cervix - had the 'all clear' so that's grand. :)

TBH my biggest problem is fear. I really don't cope well with a lack of sleep... like REALLY don't cope well... so as you can imagine I'm very worried about raising young children. :o

It has all been rather quiet - everyone must have been off having a nice boozey christmas whilst we still can.
Hooray for it being 2014. Not TTC till November but get to ditch my pill end of August and at least it's all happening this year. Although I don't think I'll be seeing any results till 2015!

Argh, I wrote a big long post and lost it, hate not having proper internet! Anyway, I've booked my implant removal, so on the way to TTC. We've not discussed a firm date to start, but I think it'll be after March, as we have a few things going on then, where my being sober would be very much noticed! Plus, while we have the luxury, we'd rather not have a December baby, obviously if we're still trying next year, we won't be so choosy!

Hope everyone enjoyed the festive season :)

Ahem Ahem!! I may be returning soon ... *Dashes out before she gets the baby bug*
  • It is now January 2014, so time for me to move over to the next board...

However, I will be moving to the Less Than 12 Weeks Pregnant board, as we tested this morning and got the BPF: I'm 6 weeks pregnant! (As a result of a month of not trying, not preventing for the last few weeks of 2013). Turns out that us catching on wasn't as unlikely as I'd convinced myself it would be! :o Genuinely rather stunned and it still doesn't feel real, even after 3 BPFs.

So farewell, and best of luck to all of you waiting to try and hopefully see you on the pregnancy boards soon!

    Congratulations Miss_Imaginative!

I'm having a DFW crisis - i really want to start ttc now but i also want the debt out of the way first. Spoke to OH and we are going to try extra hard to get rid of the debt by May for ttc in June, it's not that far away, is it?

As someone who is waiting til September, June isn't too far! And what a massive incentive that is to clear the debt ASAP, so you can try as soon as possible :D

    Congratulations Miss_Imaginative! :j :j
