If you know someone that has got there own company, then get a few friends/family together (10+) and then you can get the fleet price of £39 per car from Autonational Rescue Fleet.

Autoaid, Firstcall and Rowett all seem to be the same charge now (£32 approx.), Are there any advantages/disadvantages to each of the services offered (eg. 48 hour period before cover commences)? I only really need 'Vehicle Recovery/Onwards Transportation'. I think I can manage the '1 mile/homestart' option myself.

I recently had a timing belt failure (well within the makers original mileage recommendation but outside the makers 'hindsight' time limit, not covered in the original documentation) close to home, but wouldn't want to experience anything similar further afield with a now aging car.

I'm surprised Autoaid still has no web info, if only for the T&C and contact info. Seems suspiciously reticent in this day and age. Do they expect impulse phone sign-ups if they don't web-publish the details?
