Problem is that they have all your details from when you spoke to them earlier or if you got an on-line quote. My phone call was a bit tricky and I am not going to pursue it any further with them.0 -
CrazyChemist wrote:No, that isn't correct - they both take you anywhere. I have the policy from Norwich Union and the docs in front of me - with the roadside they dump you within 10 miles, recovery they take you anywhere and the onward travel gets you a hire car for 24hrs or a reimbursed trip home/destination by plane train or taxi.
And it's worth pointing out they've recently taken over the RAC :T
Whoops, I didn't read as far as the "Recovery" section! Even happier now as I thought that was a bit of a flaw! :j0 -

This is what I thought exactly.... I'm gutted! I'm wondering if it's worth trying again though but may be it's taking it a bit too far! My breakdown cover ran out yesterday.0 -
code still working today my sister is well pleased to have got this special deal being on her own now her husband has died she was worried about the car breaking down but she even has home start on this for £45.50.
I think she spoke to a person in India.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0 -
As I was so unsuccessful with the Norwich Union code I decided to try to see what I could get using insuresupermarket.com - very pleased with the result and I would suggest that if you've had trouble like me with the Norwich Union code then try this. I have got full breakdown cover for £39.95 with First Call and it ISNT a pay and claim type policy either
I'm very pleased with this but if there is anyone out there that can tell me why I shouldnt be then please do let me know.

Ive just called them twice and got through to india both tmes, the code doesnt work anywork, the lady said it had been stopped. I was quoted £76.92 for 14 months (thats the onward travel policy) quote is on its way to compare with a few others. Direct line quoted me far more than that and Ive been with them for 4 years.0
