AnW'sMum - thinking of you, sweetie.

    *************************************

Oh dear, I'm a couple of days behind again. Had quite a bit planned for today, but ended up going out and working with OH for the majority of it. Now I am So achey and sore. Not used to physical labour!

Did manage to bake some pumpkin & chocolate chip muffins before leaving the house and still managed to spend about a half hour in the garage at the end of the day.

Plan to keep well away tomorrow and get this done:
    • Dusting and cobweb removal
    • Vacuum floor, furniture and under furniture
    • Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    • Tidy shoes, coats and bags
    • Put ironing board back in spare room
    • Do ironing
    • List three items on Trade Me (NZ auction site)
    • Hopefully more time in the garage
Have a great day everyone :o

  • right. i'm not doing master bedroom today as i'm gonna sort the Monsters' room. so i'll do mine on friday when i do DS1's. So far I've scrubbed the carpet a bit more, stripped their beds, moved the furniture around (a neighbor knocked on door the other night and informed me that they were standing on the windowsill)
Hoovered under where the beds were.
still to do put some washing on the line, put bedding in, hoover beds and remake. put all the toys in storage cupboard(only the ones in the bedroom). Dust and clean upstairs windows, hoover landing, dust all hubbys S**t collections on shelves in landing (he collects breweryana and i hate it).
S&S kitchen and toilet. and i think thats it. :o till i find something else to do!
    Nothing to declare ;)

Time for a quick update while charlie is rolling around happily on the floor. He strangely keeps gravitating towards a corner he can't get out of and is making me laugh.
tracey charlie loved swimming. We have bought him a floating chair, and he was happy to float off without us, and was splashing away like a bit of a loonie. Only hassle was the getting him changed. Glad i went with DH and not on my own as it would have been impossible to get both of us changed without the extra pair of hands. Don't know how you manage on your own.

Michelle.. when I used to take DS1 swimming I would just wrap a towel round me.. dry and dress him then do me.. BUT.. not one of mine has ever rolled off.. when he started crawling I would just strap him in the buggy with a thing to eat and he would sit there happily while I dressed me.. it was pretty simple really... It got harder when we were taking 2.. by which time hubby sorted DS1 who was 3 and I did DD1 by the same process.. she went twice and was hysterical both times and has never been since lol.. I simpy can't take any of them now.. just too many non-swimmers (thank goodness!!) I HATE swimming and think you are exceptionally brave going anyway. I can't quite get passed the fact other people have their genitals in the water I am covered in.. see.. loony!!

  • I've given up with it, too - I'd let the two boys fool about a bit while I got dressed then I felt better able to keep them under some kind of control while all my bits were under control - running after them while trying to hitch up a towel would not work for me! Anyway - they have now both discovered cubical cruising and the last time we went they both chose to pee in complete strangers' cubicals.... needless to say they weren't exactly dry when i got them in the car!
    Is it home time yet?

you guys make me chuckle so much!! cubicle cruising hee hee
needless to say then, i will stick to just going when we are with DH. More preferable for me anyway cos i like swimming.

The joke is, my mum and dad have a swimming pool which is unusable because the pump broke, and the alligators moved in (that's what my sister tells her lad the green slime is). If they ever get round to getting it fixed i would be round there all the time - lovely non-chloriney water, and the luxury of private changing facilities, so he would be able to lol around and not get soaked while i could get ready in peace.
I'm really badly procrastinating. I DON'T WANT TO MARK MY EXAM PAPERS. I was cruising along marking paper 1's, taking about 3 minutes a paper, and now i've switched to paper 2 and it is more like 10 minutes per paper. I'm supposed to be posting some off tomorrow, but i don't know if i will make that. All depends on if mr chuckles goes to bed on time tonight (and i don't mean DH!! )
On the bright side, looks like one of DH's items has sold on ebay, but a couple more days for the rest of his garage rubbish, and there are loads of watchers. Fingers crossed for me that they bid, and we get rid of some more tut.If not, think i might freecycle them

Afternoon, bedrooms done and have cleaned out both cars, DP helped a bit with the cars. The amount of c*ap that was in there. 2 bags of books, toys, tools etc from each then 3 bags of rubbish between them! All vacuumed our, freshened and smelling nice now, one less job to do for the holiday.

Michelle, we also do the us dressed then boys when swimming, much easier, get me dressed, then them, then dry my hair. However it is much easier to do it when both of us are there. Think next week will be swimming most days as there is a pool where we are staying.
One day I might be more organised...........
