Hi everyone, the kitchen got sorted eventually, 2 things i'v forgotten to do rearrange dd2 dentist appointment which is meant to be on friday and pay an over due bill these will have to be done first thing in the morning.Just trying to get dd3 to put her things away her coat and lunch box are sitting dumped in the middle of the living room floor ,ds is getting better has started to realise it makes life much easier for him and me if he puts his things away and folds his uniform up.Can hear kids tummys rumbling better get their tea done.0
-
hello! Done as much as I'm going to off my list, nothing else will get done today apart from DH putting bedding on so we can get in it. IL's stil have DS, despite them saying they'll be back at 4.30, this means his tea will be late and he'll be late in going down - oh well. Nipped into town and got a lovely white top and some cut off trousers for myself and called in Asda to get DS some next size stuff with my £5off bounty vouchers (got 3);) So have a bag of stuff for £8 so am mega pleased with myself.
Michelle Its easy on my own now, been doing it since he was 4 months, even if we go at weekend with DH I'll get us both ready. I get us both showered, dry DS whilst I'm stood dithering, wrap him in my dry towel to keep him warm which he then promply pee's on! So I have to dry on the corner bit 9 times of 10 - thats the hard bit! Get him creamed and dressed, in buggy and then sort myself. Give him toys and a drink and some raisins and hes happy. We used to use the floats, they're great aren't they? Sam wears arm bands now but thinks he can just go as hes really confident and keeps trying to swim away from me all the time, monkey. Though it makes it harder to dunk him and swim underwater in arm bands, he just pops up like a cork!!!

Nicki --- I cried too. But thank you.
AnW's mum - have thought about you lots today. I hope so much that the day has gone as you planned it and that you and the family will be able to look back on it as a wonderful celebration of your special person.
Happy at home -- I'll be your granny but I'm NOT going swimming with you.
Welcome to Angie. A few weeks of this and you'll be amazed at the difference it makes to your home, even if you just do a little bit it's more than you did before -- at least that's my experience. From being a total lazybones about housework I now choose to do it. I don't know why this thread motivates me (cos I could always lie to everyone and pretend I'd done it all :rotfl: ) but it does.
Michelle - even though I'm motivated I'm still lazy:o so don't think of TOO many new activities will you?;)
Pigpen -- If you need a few zzzz then go for it!
No real flying yet today but promise to do a bit when I've made the birthday cake for DD. She wants a swiss roll. Any advice? She's also asked for some microfibre cloths as a birthday present! I didn't think she even knew what they were. What an impact Flylady is making, just by her listening to me witter on. She was/is even worse than me about cleaning but I love her to bits.0 -
Evening FlyFolks,
I hope everyone's well and the sudacrem and pasta disasters are under control! Welcome to the thread Angie, I hope you find it useful.
The drunken woman from work, who told me she didn't like me very much at a wedding on Saturday came back to work today and was quite civil to me. I've been fretting about it since the weekend, it's not a nice thing to be told without justification. Maybe she remembered more of our conversation than I thought she would have or maybe we have a truce. Either way I've stopped being bothered by it. Got that of my chest if that's ok!
Master bedroom only took 20 mins but I haven't vacc'd or turned the matress this week. It's a very big bed and I'm quite little. Infact as I was changing the bedding it occured to me that I could sleep on one side one week and the other side the following week and only change the bedding fortnightly.. Any flaws in that logic apart from me getting confused in the middle of the night? (And there's no gentleman callers on the horizon.)
I haven't got anything left to fling-boogie so I might just play in the kitchen for a bit and see where that takes me.
I'll pop back later, have a useful evening all.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
One debt v 100 days Part 13 £329.66/£380
One debt v 100 days Part 12 £380/£450

Had a bit of a poor day for "flying" only managed to empty dishwasher this morning, do the lunches and cook dinner. Been sat with DS3 who's got the weight of the world on his shoulders tonight, oh to be 19 again (I think not).
Cooked chilli for dinner but just don't fancy it. DS3 wanted to cook sweet n sour chicken for himself and girlfriend who's on lates tonight and not finishing until 8 but we only have half of the ingrediants. We live in a small village so no chance of nipping out and getting stuff. Why do they always want to cook stuff that they have never cooked before and expect everything to be in the larderHe has decided to opt for a chinese instead.
Anyone got a monthly menu I can copy? Feel like I should do something tonight but the body is saying "lie down and take it easy".
Since joining in on "flying thread" have decided to take half a day off work each week, I work 6 days a week. Enjoyed getting my bedroom straight so much this weekend that I want to tackle the rest of the house. We have got about 6 skip fulls of rubbish here. Anyone know Kim and Aggies phone number
Make it 8 skips I have just remembered the garage:D:wave:0
