Just read ahead to tomorrow.....
Wipe keyboard and mouse (these usually have more germs on than your toilet so important)
What should I use to do this? Keep it simple please - this could bcome a big task, DH is a work-from-home IT nerd (he runs an IT business) - without actually walking around and counting, I think there are 7 (used constantly) computers in the house... ARGH!0 -
I use a damp cloth with a little milton solution on it. Any form of anti bac, disinfectant etc but just don't soak it, slightly damp is all you need. I do a more thorough clean about every 4 weeks which includes using a brush to get any dust out etc.
You've beaten me, there is only 6 here (without games consoles etc which there are 7 of which I have to do aswell) but none of us work in IT :rotfl:. I do the ones used the most first, others when I get time. Might be worth getting your partner to lend a hand if they are all his

Hello all! Been at w*** for the last 2 days, so just done *firefighting* around the house. DD and DS (14 and 12) have been left a list of small tasks to finish when they get home from school. I've been fed up being up at 6, rushing around before leaving for w*** at 8, getting home at 5:30 and having to rush around getting a meal ready, while they sit in front of the TV  . They've done great, and got homework done, too :T
AnW's mum - been thinking of you today
Pigpen, aren't you all glamorous! DD loved the wee fairies :j
Michelle - how's Charlie - he looks lovely in your avatar :A
TracyG - how I remember the joys of swimming with littlies
So what I've done:
Laundry – washed, dried on the line, ironed and put away
WM on again overnight
Mending – done
Scout badges – sewn on
Kitchen floor – swept
Cleared up after the builders – not too bad as they were pretty tidy
Garden and hanging baskets – watered
Grocery shopping – done and put away
DH is back from his travels on Friday, so will spend tomorrow tidying our bedroom
Must rush, Anthea's calling

Haven't done a single thing from the list today for a combination of reasons.
Spending a lot of time thinking about a little one whose details we have been sent to consider. Waiting on medical reports about him and the birth family before we can make any kind of decisions.
I have ironed the load of washing that was put out to dry on the line, cooked tea and made lunches for tomorrow and cleared the kitchen and done reading practise with DS. The bedroom will have to wait until tomorrow. My dad said he'll pop over and take DS to the park with him when he walks his dog so that will give me the spare time to do our room, it's the easiest one of the week.:T
Hope everyone is having a good evening....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Hello all,
Into my second week with Flylady and getting most things done (I think).
I'm just a bit worried that I'm not doing everything that I should be because I've never been much of a cleaner.
For instance last week I thought I'd done the dusting until someone mentioned they hadn't done the skirtings. I never gave the skirtings a thought; my idea of dusting is anything horizontal and about waist height. That's why I was pleased there were lots of jobs on the lists which I wouldn't normally do, like cleaning kitchen cupboard door fronts, cobweb removal, wiping light switches (well most things if I'm honest).
Would it be possible to have more detailed instructions for people like me (I hope I'm not the only one!) or if not does anyone know of some sort of list of things that should be done?
I must say though that I'm being more observant now and it did occur to me on Monday to clean the tops of the wall cupboards and the light fittings without being told. (drum roll)0 -
AnW's mum - hope things are ok and went as well as possible. Hugs to you xx
Quiet day for flying as working all day. Will catch up tomorrow as only working in the morning.
Still not got car back so will phone tomorrow and see when it'll be done. Just want it back so I can sell it. Right, tired so off for early night. Hugs to all. xxJanuary budget

Katherinedrex: I have a spreadsheet that you are more than welcome to have... it might give you a few ideas if nothing else? PM me your email address and I'll forward it to you. You could also take a look at the mealplanners thread (still in OS) - I get lots of inspiration from there. Is it home time yet?0 -

AnW's Mum - Hope today helped you and went the way you planned.
DD1 seems to have developed a bad cough, just been in and done the olbas oil, put 2 more pillows underneath her and the nose drops but still coughing away. This weather is driving me nuts, she went to school in her winter tights this morning as she felt cold, day before last they had sunhats and suncream slapped all over them, no wonder they are getting colds!
Off for a 10 min surf then off the bed, night night all0 -
evening all. Had a bit of a disaster at work today, we were moving a website from one server to another, left it a little late in the afternoon and then 5 minutes before I was due to go home, we discovered that all the graphics hadn't been copied over. Sorted that out, and then discovered when I got home that the internal site now goes to the external site. Which wouldn't be so much of a problem, except it's the site for the dutch office, who get in atleast an hour before we do !! So tomorrow should be fun
I want more rats ! I keep looking at sites that have rats for rehoming. I'm going to turn into the rat woman at this rate !! My two are currently running around on the bed while I'm on here and watching Eddie Izzard on DVD.
I'm glad I did most of the flying this morning, as I really couldn't be bothered when I got home. I was soo shattered, I was going to have an early night, but instead I opted for doing not a lot. Though I need to change the bedding before I go to bed, then I can pop that in the washer tomorrow morning and get it on the line before I go to work.
Hope everyone is feeling ok today and those who weren't too well are feeling better.
