  • just bought cabriofix in red from mothercare - it's a preorder but for £69ish I thought it was great value. Amazon are the same price too for a preorder.

APologies in advance to all my fellow spider-haters, but this brute is currently living on the side of my shed!

I HATE spiders with a passion!

I will not be going near the shed now until said beastie has left the premises!

I might save my amazon tenner for the cotbed or carbase. I got 5% quidco and 2 free car shades at mothercare.

seorry I cannot share your pain MV, I even had a shower today with a spider in the bath and didn't bat an eyelid. Poor thing didn't do well in the water either.

Hope you're feeling all better soon Claree x

Everything was fine with the mw Wednesday, even got my mat1b ( nearly didn't as she'd thought that she'd ran out but found a couple in her handbag), so have handed that into work, and I've handed in my request to do part time 'normal' hours when I return from maternity leave. Rather earlier than most people would request it, but the hours I do at the moment would make it impossible to return so if they won't let me change hours I need to start looking for another job while I'm on maternity leave so if I know sooner it means I know where I stand and its one less thing to worry about. Just got to hope they say yes! In theory should be hard for them to say no, as only 3 people out of the labs (inc me) work shifts, everyone else does normal hours and they've set a few people on this year doing normal hours so its not like its standard practice for people to work shifts at my work.

MV - jeez that's huge, that needs evicting!

I'm going camping today for 3 days with two of my sisters and their families. We do it ever year and usually have a fab time together but I'm dreading sleeping in a tent in this heat! But thank goodness I bought my own toilet last year!:T

Having not read the earlier posts, I thought for a second that you were talking about her baby!! :rotfl:

You really need to have a thick skin when you're pregnant, don't you? I'm getting fed up of the stupid size comments now. A work colleague came out with quite an offensive one yesterday and it's really wound me up.

Sorry to hear you're in hospital Clare, feel better soon.

MV- that's horrendous! I absolutely hate them but my house seems to be full of massive spiders!

Feeling a bit down because of DH. He's a complete xbox addict and its at the point where he gets in from work, turns the Xbox on and doesn't speak to me at all some nights. If I say anything he says he won't be dictated to. So I end up in bed on my own most nights till he comes up late, then he's so tired he can't get up when his alarm goes off and I end up wide awake unnecessarily at 5.30am :( To add to this he doesn't help out at all at home, even down to washing up a cup. Just getting really worried now, baby due date is 6 weeks away and I feel like I'm going to be doing it all alone :(

Sorry for the rant but can't talk to anyone in real life!

Is this advertised anywhere or is it that it just happens on first purchase? I registered the other day for the 3 months free but haven't bought anything yet.

I hovered over the car seat for a while but thought I should make a decision on the travel system first.
