yea PP i could probably manage that, buts its 20 minutes each way on a busy motorway for me each way to work, ive asked work to put me onto our main 9-5 shifts, we get a free bus but i can only use it if im on those shifts, so hopefully ill not need to worry about it too much.
Omg im such a girl! sitting here with 1 of our balcony doors open, i refuse to open the other one because theres a spider the size of a tarantula behind the 2nd door! ick!
i would say ill get DH to get rid when he gets home but he wont, he pretends he wont kill spiders because they havent done anything....really hes just a pair of fluffy bloomin knickers!

Another one wishing you well Claree..hope everything's ok!
AFM- wow I'm in pain. Sick of hearing myself saying 'my hip, my hip' but every time I move it's so painful! Don't know why but I'm at docs on Tuesday. Until then I'm hobbling.
On a positive note the entire upstairs of our house has been painted and we are just a carpet, light fittings and couple of new doors away from being able to furnish my little baby boy's room. Not sure what 'theme' to do so we've had everything done in an off white colour which looks totally beautiful after having a bit of a scruffy upstairs for years!
Anyone any ideas on how they are decorating their own baby's room? xx0 -
Spiders have to be removed to several houses up the street so if they want to be inside they will then go in a neighbours house NOT in my house... that works in my head!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Ick. Dislike spiders.
The room sounds nice Bangton. You'll have to put some pics up for us to have a look. Unfortunately, no decorating here. We have a 2 bed house so once baby is sleeping through the night then he/she will be sharing 2yo DD's room, which is all still decorated lovely in nice neutral colours. I'm going to move the furniture around and hand make a few bits and bobs so that the baby's got some of his/her own things. But I'm moving quite slowly at the moment. I'm sure I'll pick up speed soon0 -
Very relieved tonight, MIL can take the girls! So I can stop stressing about giving birth alone.
My sister is terrified of spiders, she once lived 30 minutes away and rang me when youngest was a couple of months old to go over there to rescue her from a spider. Ummmmm, nope!Norn Iron Club member 273:beer:0 -
Claree - hope things are OK, sounds like they are just being cautious. Hope you get kicked out first thing in the morning.
I don't seem to have stopped eating today. Not even sure it was because I was hungry. I couldn't even begin to list it all. Some healthy & some not so! Need to keep this in check as don't want to over eat every day.
Speaking at a women's development course tomorrow (work related). I have to share stuff about me/ my career etc. & leave them motivated. It's quite daunting.
Luckily for me the air con in my office is working perfectly at the moment & the temp is lovely for the 9 or 10 hours/ day I seem to be there at the moment.
Went to Morrisons on the way home & picked up some half price newborn sleep suits. Only £3 for 2. I've mainly bought white stuff but a few bright things crept in. TBH I have generally bought functional basic stuff. I'm leaving the fancy things for others to buy!
Hope to get OH to Kiddicare this weekend to look at travel system options. Could be fun!0 -
I'm actually a bit fed up waiting for this mini-me now.. everything is washed and ready and just needs a person to use it all.. I am hot and fat and in pain and in a permanent grumpfest and just want it over and done with so I can move on with my life.
I think the eviction notice needs to be served now..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks for all the well wishes
blood pressure is now on the high side of normal which is an improvement! Been in a room myself all day but now they've moved a really chatty woman in withme and I'm really not up for this :rotfl: have to wait to get blood results in the morning after they had to repeat them because they haemoglised - whatever that is!
Feeling a lot better about staying in now though, had a bit of a wobble when OH had to go home but hopefully it's just the one night. My Debt Free Diary

The red cells popped basically.. why they just can't say that!!! lol .. it can be caused by a few things... genetic disorders, infection etc... but usually it is a fault in the way the blood was taken...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
