This is probably a better question for those of you who already have 1 child but what size of clothing are people buying for when the baby is immediately born?
Ive bought a few 'newborn' sleepsuits and also some 0-3 month ones.
Ive just been googling it and some people said that the 0-3 took a while for their kids to fit into so now Im thinking perhaps I should have bought more newborn as I expect we'll get 0-3 stuff as presents.
Then I saw on mamas and papas you can get petite newborn which is up to 7lbs which from my paranoia from yesterday got me thinking maybe I should be buying that!
On the other hand Im thinking screw it, Ill just keep to what Ive got now, and can always go on the internet and order stuff the day the baby is born if needed, it would arrive in a few days and clearly youd be in to accept deliveries
There is a really cute starter set in the M&P sale which I kind of regret not buying yesterday now and wondering if to order online just wondering what size to get.
But then my friend was told her baby would be small and it was 7lb I think 10? So buying petite stuff would have been a waste of time. So I guess Ill stick to normal newborn for now.
Delurking to say that my lo was 9lb5oz at birth and way too small for 0-3 months. In fact he was in newborn until almost 4 weeks.DS born November 2013 :smileyhea0 -
I am going to pack a selection of sizes as although my boy is measuring large he will be coming early so no idea what weight he will actually be. So we have one pack tiny baby, a selection of newborn size and some 0-3 months all of which were given as gifts.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
