Great looking bump PP - just right I think!
Glad to hear the MW appt went well MV. If you're home alone then definitely try and relax. I love hanging out washing to dry in this weather - so much better than tumble drying.
Nikki - I would phone too. Better to be over cautious I think.
Afm, not much. Out for lunch with DD and DH which was nice. DD napping but need to get her up in a min and she'll be a grump but at least DH is off today so he can help and play football with her in the garden or something.

Currently sitting in the hospital waiting to be told to go home. The pain is coming from my pelvis apparently and its due to it moving. The joys.
They have picked up that the baby is measuring small so I'm waiting on a growth scan appointment for tomorrow.0 -
Hi all
DH decided that his cold last week was sooo good , and he wanted to share itIve been bad since Monday - neck, back & head aches, sore throat, nasty cough, sneezing and to top it off hot & cold sweats. I am not impressed with him. I'm really glad I'm only 22 weeks and not 32+ cuz I really don't fancy feeling like this later on.
Lets all keep our fingers crossed that this stupid heatwave stops soon.
Hugs to all

Hello all,
We're off on hols in Wales this Saturday for a week. Since I can't drink alcohol unless its a very low volume, I wondered if any of you could suggest any simple non-alcoholic (or very low alcohol) cocktails
I like things like Mohitos, Pimms etc. My best idea so far is something like Tinto de Verano- basically red wine, lemonade, fruit and ice. A bit like Sangria but less sweet. The red wine gives flavour but since its diluted lots (say three parts lemonade) plus further reduced by lots of ice and fruit, its very refreshing anxious only low alcohol.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

I like soda and lime, or else I've found Becks Blue hits the beer-y spot. There isn't any substitute for a good wine that I've ever discovered!0

I have just been to Morrisons and bought more baby clothes! It's a half price sale and even the full price stuff is scanning at half price. I'm debating whether or not to go back for white clothes as all the stuff I've bought is coloured.
What do you think is better white or coloured baby clothes?0 -
My feet are so swollen! I went to use my foot spa and noticed it says to consult your doctor first if pregnant?! Anyone know why this is? Think i'll probably use it anyway, my feet kill!

I spoke to midwife about swollen feet and she was happy for me to dunk them in a washbasin of cold water. I don't know why a footspa would be any different.0

Imo, there is nothing cuter than newborns in pure white sleepsuits. Love them. Have got quite a few for this baby.Toothfairy4 wrote: »My feet are so swollen! I would still use it. I should think for the same reason that we're not allowed to use jacuzzis - raising the body temperature. But i cant see that just bathing the feet would really be bothersome.
Nikki - good that you got checked out and have a growth scan in place. Best to be on the cautious side.
DD's sleep shorts are in the wash so I've put her to bed in a PJ top and a nappy. Not sure if I'll regret it as she'll probably whip the nappy off at some time during the night.0 -

Coloured....definitely!!! Haha! (white shows poo and puke stains!)
Non-bio washing powder doesn't quite do it with whites! Also white gets a bit boring - my favourite clothes for my baby girl are bright pink, dark blue with white spots, and green with pink hearts! They seem to look nicer than white - white is great for the first week when they are a newborn but then you want to start adding a bit of personality to your baby!
I have just bought some gorgeous dresses from M&Co online (TCB are offering 8% back and also a 20% off first order code - even on the sale stuff and they have some luuurvely stuff!).0
