ask for it. mine never gave me anything I always had to ask.
and take a few photocopies...employers are great at losing things lol

last day just being the 3 of us. think i am all sorted. tough if i am not. just need to unpack steriliser and set up nappy bin.

    hope everyone is well

MV.. I just got some teeny tiny prem stuff in the next sale for mine.. I need to wash those and the towels which were delivered on Friday.. but yes.. they are too cute..

Thinking I might pack a hospital bag today .. I did intend doing it yesterday then got carried away finding floor and moving chests of drawers.. as you do! Definitely paying for it today though.. my left hip won't bear weight and I'm having really evil cramps in the tum.. I managed to get my shoes on this morning though.. now.. dare I take them off??? I need to do the 3:15 school run..

Miffy .. Raspberry leaf is from 32 weeks .. though some say not until 37 weeks.. I have a 'chart' thing somewhere.. I'll go searching (nothing better to do!)

oop you've reminded me I need to wash towels as well..thanks PP!

I need to sort my hospital bag too. My mum (bless her) has been to Boots and bought me a bunch of the unexciting stuff - breast pads, maternity towels, newborn nappies etc, but I'm not seeing her till the w/e, and then we are in Bristol visiting my sister, so hospital bag realistically isn't going to happen until next week.

Hope I'm not tempting fate and leaving it too late (given all the 'ooh you look like you're going to pop soon' comments yesterday!

    Oh, I forgot another question.

Can someone please remind me when we start on the Raspberry Leaf Tea (something else a little crunchy ;)) ? Is it 34 weeks or 36 weeks? I remember starting off on 1 cup a day and drinking 4 cups a day by the end. But I had a fab pushing stage so would like to take the RLT again but can't remember when. Ta.

Will definitely be asking for it, I was late getting my prescription exemption thing as although I asked at my first appointment when I'd get that she was very dismissive and was like o not yet that's done later. At my next appointment - with a different mw - and she was shocked that it hadnt already been done. Hoping I don't see the mw that in theory should be there today as not filled with confidence with her!

Never heard of taking calcium - what's that for??
  • baby takes calcium from your bones and teeth to make it's own bones so you could do with topping your own supplies up. That's one of the reasons we get free dental treatment.
