Oh, I know exactly what you all mean about the rage (although, Baleb, they deserved a slap) I ripped the head off a cyclist who tried to cause an accident with my husband yesterday (he had youngest in the car) and then had the balls to have a go at him over it - I was driving behind them and saw the whole thing. This Mama Lion roared and I don't think he'll forget it anytime soon.

I need to get measured for nursing bras but I just haven't had the time to recently, my bust has stayed exactly the same size so I've been wearing my normal underwired bras as they're comfy and I get the support I need from them (I'm normally a 38F so support is essential!)

Had my antenatal appointment and Wriggler has been served his eviction papers! I'm being brought in next Thursday, 25th July at 8am - 9 days left! So I will be queue jumping but only to joint 3rd. Can't quite believe we're going to meet our little man next week.

MV - great looking bump! It does look a little low, but I wouldn't worry. DS was a little late wasn't here? Maybe your little lady wants to come sooner rather than later! Maybe your MW can see how engaged you are?

Babamoose - Hope you are ok. Best to get it checked out. Could it be Braxton Hicks? I never got BH with my DD and haven't had any so far with this baby, so not too sure what they feel like?

abis - have you tried M&S or John Lewis. First time round I got all my non wired and maternity bras from M&S and this time from John Lewis. Comfy and attractive too. And the ladies who measure the bras were both excellent. I'd love it if my boobs got that big - I was excited when they got to a 36D!

Afm, 26 weeks today. Exciting stuff. Can't complain really - no ailments or anything untowards. Having a bit of a burst of energy but limited in this heat. But I love the sun, so deffo not complaining about the weather. Still haven't sorted anything for the baby, but have looked at beds for DD and car seats. It's a start! And I have all my reusable nappies strewn across my bed seeing what first stage ones I have and what I need. That'll be enough for one day I think! Oh and painting my toe nails. Can still manage to do that!

    Hope everyone is progressing nicely.

Oh, and I also meant to ask. Is everyone getting/had the whooping cough vaccine. I'm a member of a "crunchy mama" FB group and they are quite anti-vac, and it makes for some interesting reading. I think I will get it done - but not 100% sure yet.

MV - wow! What a compact neat bump - jealous - you won't need to do much to regain your figure! I wouldn't worry - my baby engaged early-ish BUT was still 2 weeks late! So they can go down and just get rather comfy!!!! (al....too comfy!) It sticks out quite a bit still - my bump went rather flat towards the end when the baby's head was deep in my pelvis.

Still lurking....! I am addicted to seeing who is next! ;)

Does anyone know anywhere to buy maternity / nursing bras for larger sizes?

I need a 38J cup now as my stitching is bulging on the H cups I have.

I got the originals from mothercare, but they are out of stock online and in all of my local shops and unable to order in.

I have seen some on ebay, but not only are they more expensive than mothercare - they are different brands so I don't know if they will fit the same or anything.

I definitely need non-wired as they really really hurt if I wear wired bras. But also I would like as much support as pos with them being on the larger side...

    Thanks, Abi 22+0

Hi Abi, check out bravado bras - the silk seamless maternity ones - I had despaired of ever finding a comfy bra and had gone through several sizes, I was actually going bra less rather than face another day's discomfort when I discovered this brand. They are expensive, but once it's on you won't want to take it off! Soooo comfy! They only come in four sizes as its made of a stretchy material, I'm around a 42C as my ribcage expanded up from a 38, and am in the large.

John Lewis stock them or there's various internet sites. I have now sold all my other maternity bras on ebay and resolved never to wear anything but these ever again even after I've had the baby!

I should become a rep for them or something I love them so much!

I meant to get it today at my antenatal appointment but they forgot to give it to me! I wouldn't even know about it if it wasn't for the ads on the radio. I'm going to phone them back tomorrow and see what's going on - thanks for reminding me.

I've had it, i think its worth having better than risking baby catching even if the chance is small, it's your choice at the end of the day.

Can't believe how fast I'm moving up the list eek it's scary cant wait to meet my little lady but I'm not ready yet, off baby shopping Friday need steriliser, bottles, sheets, blankets, mattress for Moses basket and pram, oh and some nappies and stuff for me for the hospital :) I'm also quite concerned how OH will manage while I'm in hospital, the kids will drive him potty :rotfl:

When I had my growth scan today, they measured baby's head circumference, tummy and there was another measurement called FL. Does anyone know what this is? I thought it might be fetal length or something but it was 54 mm so clearly not - baby is much bigger than that now at 28 weeks.
Its all in normal range so I'm not worried just curious what it could be.

I'm with the crunchy mama's and not having it done.. I disagree with all the toxins and crap in vaccines.
