Will definitely be asking for it, I was late getting my prescription exemption thing as although I asked at my first appointment when I'd get that she was very dismissive and was like o not yet that's done later. At my next appointment - with a different mw - and she was shocked that it hadnt already been done. Hoping I don't see the mw that in theory should be there today as not filled with confidence with her!
I've not got any of the forms I'm supposed to have despite asking several times! Including the healthy start voucher things I am supposed to get and the exemption certificate!! Good job I don't get ill isn't it!!?? I didn't get any of them with the last 1 either.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all. Being on mat leave is confusing the wee fella (almost 3) - he normally goes to my Mam's on a Wed & Thur but seeing as I am at home he's home with me much to his disgust! He told me this morning I needed to get a job so he could go to Nana's!
Going to get the pram out today and give it a clean - washed all the baby stuff last week... I've gone for 0-3 month stuff as the newborn things I bought for DS wouldn 't fit him cos he was 9lb and had long legs so we had an emergency run into Tesco on the way home from hospital to buy bigger things. At least you can get away with babygros being a bit long in the leg if they're too big for baba.
Being plagued with Braxton Hicks these last few days, my bump seems to be rock hard most of the day. I am soooo jealous of the neat wee bumps on here - mine is massive - if I can work out how to post a photo I'll show you.
Hope everyone's well

I'm exactly the same - I struggle to lean forward at my desk to type 'cause bump is solid and huge! Only 2 more days of work though :j

My bump actually seems smaller than it did at about 20 weeks!!! Baby was breech and is now curled right into my back and there seems to be minimal water in there too.
OH's mum was commenting how big I am.. erm... no.. I am absolutely tiny with this one compared to some of my others!! She was obviously one of those who never gets past the looking fat stage..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hello everyone!
Just checking in before I turn into a big old puddle on the floor! Been surviving on ice lollies!, would love someone to turn the thermostat down!! Hope all you ladies ready to pop aren't too uncomfy.
Still haven't really thought about packing a hospital bag yet ( think it had been repacked about 6 times by this stage with ds1!!) and the house is totally upside down while OH redecorates the back bedroom so boys have got a bedroom, was stressed about it all a few weeks ago, but haven't got the energy to be bothered in this heat!! Anyone else totally unorganised?
Think the only plus point of it being like this is that I've managed to wash all the teeny tiny clothes and the nappies are out on the line
Congrats to all the new mammy's too, hope your little bundles are behaving!! xx

Planning on having a bbq on fri (mse style obviously!) but were inviting the parent, both sides so i'm trying to come up with a few different bits to have instead of a burger and hot dog for a change.

Had to wait half an hour for my MW appt in the sweltering heat of my GP surgery.
Good news s baby is now measuring bang on for dates and all is well. She is 3/5 engaged and head is low down in my pelvis.
She told me not to listen to anyone else's speculation of how much longer I may have, and the only person to trust is the MW!
Going to soend the rest of the day lounging in the gardenMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Yay, glad to hear it. I've got the MW tomorrow so hoping for similar news since we seem to be copying each other with most things (except my huge bump and your lovely little one!).
Honestly, I just want to go home now. I'm finishing up work on Friday so not long to go but my desk chair is uncomfortable and I am bored of people asking if I'm "looking forward to finishing" or telling me I've "not long left now" etc.
And on a completely unrelated note - I used to go to loads of European away games with Celtic, we never had one on Belfast. Tonight, Celtic are playing in Belfast. I love Belfast. My timing is ridiculousMy Debt Free Diary
