Thanks. how strange they measure that, I would never have thought it would be that. I suppose maybe it's an easy one for them to measure, to see if it is growing as it should be.

In conditions such as downs syndrome or IUGR and other syndromes one of the indicators is the short femur. If it is in line with the other measurements all is fine.

Oh, and I also meant to ask. Is everyone getting/had the whooping cough vaccine. I'm a member of a "crunchy mama" FB group and they are quite anti-vac, and it makes for some interesting reading. I think I will get it done - but not 100% sure yet.

I've had the WC jab Miffy.

    What does 'crunchy mama' mean?

Mother who supports homebirth, breastfeeding, baby wearing, cloth diapering, co-sleeping, gentle discipline, etc. One who questions established medical authority; tends to be vegetarian and/or prepare all-organic foods

haha righto..the complete opposite of me then! :rotfl:

Although I will give breast feeding a go again. I managed to do 7 months with DS (albeit with the odd Aptamil rescue feed thrown in!).

    :rotfl:sums it up perfectly!

I'm on it more for the reusable nappies as I did it part time with DD and want to do it more this time. I'm not a co-sleeper, baby wear occasionally and didn't bf DD. I daren't tell them this otherwise they'll kick me out :o

But they do post some interesting articles about vaccines and the like.

    Oh, I forgot another question.

Can someone please remind me when we start on the Raspberry Leaf Tea (something else a little crunchy ;)) ? Is it 34 weeks or 36 weeks? I remember starting off on 1 cup a day and drinking 4 cups a day by the end. But I had a fab pushing stage so would like to take the RLT again but can't remember when. Ta.
