Ok tmi alert but want to make sure this is normal though I guess it is but being first pregnancy it's all new to me! - my nipples seem more textured if that makes sense, they aren't sore, just look a lot more textured than normal when they're cold, isnt as obvious when I'm warm. I'm guessing its just to do with getting ready to produce milk?

Yes.. perfectly ordinary and normal :D

Today I hate the world.. I haven't stopped yelling since about 8am. I am hot and exhausted and I don't feel too good either today..

I am sick of feeling like a burden on everyone, I can't even pick things off the floor if I drop them now so of course I am dropping absolutely everything I touch.

My back and hips are agony and my feet are so enormous I am sure they should either have stretch marks or simply pop!

I hate summer.. really truly hate it.

No idea where my post went I must have managed to delete it somehow I guess - probably when I was hitting all the buttons on the laptop trying to get an email to send lol :p

Thanks thought it was normal but they looked so weird all of a sudden!

Your not a burden, you're pregnant and allowed to feel irritable if you want to - this weather definitely doesn't help I've been getting annoyed at myself (Dh is at work so he can't annoy me!) let alone other people!

Mine are the same lozza! DH took great pleasure in telling me they looked 'massive' one day lol.

Dh is diplomatically not commenting on anything other than baby must be getting bigger as bump grows - I don't think he dare saying anything else in case he ends up in the shed lol

Ha! I think mine has learnt his lesson. Now when he tries to touch them i say 'are you sure you want to touch my MASSIVE nipples?!' Accompanied by a peed off face. Should stop him commenting from now on!

I said mine look like orangutans nipples! They suddenly went massive and dark, and still are 4 months later :( not to be weird but I was proud of my little pink ones before! Tmi!

They don't go back to how they used to be.. you'll just get used to their new look!

Pigpen I hear you with the fed up. .. cross/burden bit! I've done something to my hip so I can't open legs to slide into table seats on the train or get out of the car, I'm hot but most of all the hip thing is driving me berserk because now I'm slow and fat as a pose to just fat! !

Congratulations on all the recent births! It's scary how quickly I'm flying up the list and I'm not at all ready :(

My feet are huge and I'm starting to get quite uncomfortable now!
Stretch marks have just appeared. I didn't expect it to hurt but I could feel a burning sensation like my skin was way too tight, so I checked and there they were. I had been oiling religiously so hopefully I've minimised the severity (or wasted lots of money on oils!)

Do they fade after the birth, does anyone know?

The recent new mums came back to NCT yoga last night with babies.

There were about 12 of them & it was (fairly) peaceful!

The mums shared their birth experience & how breast feeding had gone.

Births all quite different but what was the same is that they all said how difficult breast feeding had been. Stories of pain, bleeding, cracked nipples & hungry babies :(. Most were getting there - the babies ranged from 2 days to 12 weeks old. The general advice was to use support networks ASAP & don't suffer. For me it was a good trigger to think about what to do if things don't go to plan.
