I'm not sure...I got the Miraclebox one from Boots - It had a few quid off at the time (I paid £23ish I think) and I got 10 points for every £ through the parentig club. You can probably get cheaper, but I went for that for the points and because Boots was just easy to pick it up from. I'll probably sell it on after I'm finished with it. It comes with pregnancy exercise guides as well which are handy and a link for where you can go online and download the exercises to do to help get baby into the optimal position.0 -

just remember your notes.
:rotfl: I agree if it's a better hospital!
I'm off to drown in the bath to hopefully put this baby to sleep as she's been non-stop since 2am and I'm so tired so if waters aren't going then she can sleep tonight!0 -
On the subject of mattresses, do you know if you need a new mattress even for siblings, I was hoping to use the moses basket and cot I used for my little one for his little sister when she comes, I have heard if you are buying from a stranger it is not safe but is it ok to use in same family?Sparkles87 wrote: »The official advice is new mattress even for siblings due to the little bits of milk they spit up causing mould in the mattress which would be harmful to any other child as each has their individual immune system.
Random popping in from me, but my DD is still using her mattress, but it has a zip off mesh bit that gets chucked in the wash if she has soiled, but underneath that is a thick waterproof layer before you even get to the actual fabric part of the mattress. I was going to use this mattress when I move baby into the cot bed, presumably it's safe from mould and the like?

PP - You're going to have to pack a hospital bag at some point anyway, so tbh I would prob pack the bag and take it anyway, just in case. If you don't need it, at least it's all ready to go when you do need it!0

It can't be a worse hospital .. if fear of the unknown is preferable to terror of the known, it has to be bad..
I know if I take the stuff and nothing happens I will be gutted knowing the dopey child missed its chance at a safe arrival ... Oh my... that set off the water works..

Well I'm in pain again feeling loads of pressure down below and in my bumhad pain in my bum cheek, leg and hip today have tried cocodamol but they don seem to be working so I'm gonna pop to the docs see if they'll prescribe some stronger ones and get some more fibrogel, don't want to get constipated from to much codeine that would just be the icing on the cake lol
And welcome to the new ladies xx***** on the road to debt freedom *****
