Hehe! Seems like we're all similar in what we think is 'necessary' before giving birth. I tend to always wear a bit of make up as I have quite spotty skin, particularly now I'm pregnant. Can't imagine I'll be shouting 'grab my make up bag' to DH on the way out of the door though, I really don't think I'll be bothered on that particular day! And as for wearing high heels on my way to the hospital like one of those mums... Just LOL!0

I'll do my legs myself but anything above my thighs is a bit of a mystery at the moment :rotfl: I have a tattoo at the top of my leg that I've not seen the top of for a few weeks now!My Debt Free Diary

Morning ladies!
I have been lucky enough to have been freshly showered and defuzzed with both mine. I have photos of me minutes after having ds that Dh took(I despise having my photo taken!) Bless him. But he did them in black and white and they are fantastic, don't tell him! Ha ha! We have colour ones of ds though, both my babies were spotless when they were born. You will probably end up wanting some of those precious first moments

urgh.... sodding hayfever... *snot sniff snort* I look like a vampire today.
I don't wear huge amounts of slap so usually have something in my bag anyway.. and pics of me are banned because I hate having them done anyway but I have been so unwell by the time mine arrived I would have spoiled the pics. I think we have 2 after Dot and they are locked away in a folder on the lappy.. can't bin them they have Dot on them! I had my nails done the day Dot arrived and a couple of days before squeak arrived.. defuzzing.. the legs were done, the chipped polish on the toes sorted .. but the bush was quite definitely a bush.. I've not seen it is many a moon.. I don't even know if it still exists!
But before even baby pics are done I have the hair brushed, face washed, mascara and lip gloss on at least.. you can't smell me on pics
I am pretty certain a pair of feet are going to drop out at any second.. naughty baby has been transverse the last few days and is now feet first and jumping.. My poor little bladder is all distressed and I have heartburn from the resultant head in ribs scenario.. I almost wee'd on the floor as I got out of bed.. not helped by the freeeeeezing cold pair of hands my 2 year old placed on my naked leg!
It is a lovely day here so I am going to get the last few baby bits washed I think.. though.. I might not as I've just remembered all the crib bedding is still at DD1's. I might order the new mattress for the basket though.. though it seems a huge shame to just bin the old ones.. but my littlest had reflux = lots of sick and DD1's boy also has reflux = more lots of sick so I honestly don't want to run the risk of almost 2 year old vomit bugs. I might cut them down to fit in the tiddlers dolly prams.
.. see... there is one guideline I kind of follow
I am getting a bit fed up of cramp and lack of sleep though..Is it just mine that thinks my bedtime is an excuse to have their own personal mosh pit followed by a rave followed by a small amount of breakdancing?

I'm with you PP - as soon as I lie down (couch or bed), tiny human goes nuts. Most of the time she's resting against daddy so she seems to like to kick the hell out of him - he's still loving it though.
Speaking of which - OH suggested his first name yesterday...typically I don't like it :rotfl: He's also reliably informed me that my nursary will be painted by this weekend, I'm not holding my breath! My Debt Free Diary

I shave my legs every few days but that's more because they itch if I let them go! I painted my toes and fingers last night, just because I know they'll make me take it off so it felt like tempting fate a bit
and will be taking in lip balm and moisturiser as I get hideously itchy skin after being in hospital. Wouldn't bother with all the fake tanning etc. though, baby doesn't care and I'm sure they said skin to skin is better if you're skin is clean and smells like you without perfume.
I'm not a happy mum-to-be this morning, long story but I'll explain once I reach some form of resolution.

Yep, baby goes mad at bedtime here to goodness knows whats going on in there, we get feet, knees, elbows allsorts poking out, especially were daddy puts his hand,is funny!
Hope your results give you some piece of mind either way claree!
Lovecake, nice to see you back, hope you and lo are ok, not long for you now!!
Feel for you pp mine was transverse then feet down, does feel as though they are kicking their way out, but is now (un)comfortably head down and engaged!
Goodluck with sweep Nicki!!
Hope your ok sparkles xx0 -
morning
labour vibes to Nikki and minimuffin. Hope your sweeps work well.
I'm planning to go to aquazumba classes so will have to keep myself tidy anyway so won't have to make a special effort. I hate wearing makeup so if I'm wearing any it'll be a blue moon!0
