I know! Schools break up very early over here (I think they finish around the same time in Scotland but i may be wrong)

Most schools here (Scotland) either broke up yesterday - don't ask me why! - or Friday. They do go back a lot earlier though obviously.

Oh pp thats not so good, but atleast they are aware and can keep a closer eye on little one, how far are you now?

Claree, I go the other way and always measure small, but babies have always been long and chunky, sometimes its just the way you carry them, you may even out yet, remember its all just done on averages but everyone is different. I'm sure they could send you for a scan if your really worried. One of the other ladies Im sure it was missymoo was measuring big and was very worried, her little girl was 8lb- if my memory serves me correctly!!

That will be lovely for them Girlzmum, and at least you can, hopefully, get a bit of extra rest before lo makes his appearance!!

Just lurking as I am only early.

I was measuring small at 36 weeks check at midwife and she said I would have a small baby. 6 days later I had a 7lb 12 ounce baby so three weeks early. Midwife said she was shocked but there we go!

    xx

Does anyone know of a website where I can print a card (like a greeting card) with a quote on it? I found a lovely quote on a card on etsy but it's £6 postage to the UK and I'm not paying that for an anniversary card and I can't find anywhere else with this quote on a card - it's driving me nuts!

They're off for 9 full weeks here so don't go back until very end of August/beginning of September. Arranging childcare is so much fun!!!

I was told 4 weeks before eldest was due that she was 8lb, she arrived 5 days over her dute date at 7lb15oz. On Tuesday we were told Wriggler is 6lb - God only knows what size will pop out!

Not sure of the cost but have you tried Moonpig? My sister got fantastic cards from there, basically she used her baby's first scan and above it she wrote 'Auntie N - will you be my Godmother.' So she was able to completely personalise it.

Had a look on moonpig & funky pigeon but there seems to be only cards you can change a few words of or there's a maximum number of characters. I'll keep looking though!

My 'enormous' baby arrived at 40+3 and was 7lb 8.. and my 'huge for dates 6lb' 30+3 boy was actually 3lb 10

nearly 31 weeks .. I'll see what the actual antibody levels are before taking further action.. Any massive sudden tummy growth might indicate hydrops though which seems to be the biggest thing to watch out for and they are likely to need a scan or 3 to check the heart and liver.. we'll see.

Hey all - hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine

Saw midwife yesterday, apparently I am 2/5 engaged - does that mean she's coming soon? Slightly scary :-/

I'd take measurements with a pinch of salt. DS2 who was 'not much more than 7lb' was 9lb. With my two boys I carried hardly any water.

This time the midwife is telling me I am measuring big, this one will probably end up the smallest! I don't know whether its because I have an anterior placenta or whether I am carrying a lot more water this time but this bump feels a lot more squishy. With my sons I could feel elbows, feet, knees!
