    Ooooooh nice new thread!
How am I in the top 10 already! I didn't even get that far last time due to ds making an early appearance and me making a huge queue jump.

My placenta is at the back so I should feel it. I've felt 2 jiggles today, not kicks. I'll wait until tonight, that's normally when he wakes up. Just hope this isn't things to come.

I don't want to scare you too much but they tend to be the opposite inside to what they are when they arrive.. DD2 being the exception.. :p Boys are.. erm.. hard work, they like to keep you occupied.. girls just whine and squeal too much... as a stereotype.

    Maternity/birthing balls - worth it?

I have one and really like it! I don't use it all the time, but sometimes it's the only way i can get comfy. Baby feels really low now and even sitting on the couch can be sore on my bits so I sit and bounce/wiggle around on the ball while I watch tv. I'm planning to use it while I'm labouring at home too. I'll let u know if it helps at all :)

Has anyone had any experience with a tens machine. I've heard mixed reports. Not sure whether to hire one or not...

Yeah....that's what I'm worried about!!

I'm already bricking it on how to look after a boy. Girls are easy as I have girl parts and know how to look after myself....but I dunno how to look after a boy. What the hell do I do with his willy?!?! Point it down, leave it as it?

With my nephew we kept it covered to prevent being sprayed, or popped a wet wipe over it. Changing little boys is just as easy as little girls :) Although my youngest nephew had the biggest goolies we've ever seen! They completely fill his nappy :eek::eek: It's shocking really.

lol.. you open the nappy.. if it pops up a little.. you cover it back up quick as this is a sign they are going to wee. When the put the clean nappy one point willy downwards otherwise they wee straight out the top of the nappy or straight out of the leg

you don't pull back the foreskin as it is stuck until they are about 3-4 .. this is why little boys fiddle with it. the fiddling loosens the foreskin so it can retract and be washed when they get bigger.

Aaaaah, I didn't know that. I always wondered why they "played" with themselves. Thanks PP.

I'm not sure if this is a silly question but are birthing balls the same as exercise ones? Theres nothing different about them is there?
