    I've been Money Tipped!
Faerie I need IV penicillin which I have no reaction to & are quick to administer. I'm happy to have cannula removed. I've done plenty of research so will see what consultant says!

Thanks for all replies re breathlessness, I'm anaemic so guessing that's not helping!

Wow it's busy here just now !

I was off work sick today, got a chest infection I can't get rid of... I'm now worrying about my sickness record :( Gonna go in tomorrow even if I don't get much sleep, have no plans on NY day so can sleep it off then hopefully.

I'm watching Dirty Dancing and OH is cooking something in the oven that is making me feel sick... no idea what it is but I certainly hope it isn't for me !!

Been looking at lots of baby things online, still haven't found a moses basket I want which is starting to annoy me!

Is anyone thinking of getting a front carrier instead of a pram for their little one? I'd like to find one that supports the proper hip position (feet up in a sitting position, not hanging loose), and I'd love to get some suggestions if anyone has any. :)

We have got a Becco Gemini which can be used from birth to toddlerhood and allows front, back and hip carries (age dependant) which came highly recommended and also a Stretchy wrap for the early days.

  • Mrs_T - l was considering becoming a baby wearer too (thanks for the new expression Robots, really did have a chuckle to that one) but considering l have no idea about them the only thing l could decide on was that i wanted a purple sling. Only trouble is l don't really knew much about them either. Think I'm just going to have to wait until Miss Bambi arrives to see how well we get on with them in the shops.
l want something comfortable enough for us both that I can also wear around the house for when I have a mad cleaning spree & not have to worry about the dogs trying to snuggle up to her or trying to upset her.

I am one very grumpy pregnant woman. Period cramps all day radiating to my lower back. Have been restless for the past two hours and quite irritable, my poor OH he keeps asking if there's anything he can do to help. I've taken myself off to bed to try to get some sleep, all that's happened today is I'm now more or less 100% effaced and 2-3cm dilated. Ho hum.

Robots - my friend was a 1 in 14 chance of downs and her baby was fine. I hope the further tests provide you with some reassurance. Sorry it's adding more anxiety to your plate *hugs*

Rummer - if you have your baby before i have mine I shall cry :p only joking, just hope your little one arrives safely

Con - hope you feel better soon

TL - sounds like baby had dropped for you, oddly walking seems to ease the foof pain. Might help you too if it gets to much

thank you Kerri. At least our local hospital is at the highest end of safety for doing the amniocentesis without complications. and *hugs* back to you for being so supportive to everyone despite obviously being very uncomfortable. In addition, I've learnt A LOT from your recent posts!

thanks, but i can't claim any credit. I first heard the phrase a while ago on a hippy sewing blog!

Jeeez turns out he was cooking a wooden spoon... had left the hob on when he put the oven on !!!

Just as well I told him to go check as I could feel it getting smoky!
