Kerri - good luck!!
Rummer - sorry it was not better news, but at least the problem has been picked up and they are addressing it.
Robots - Fingers crossed all turns out well for you and your little one. Try to think positive - If I understand correctly lots of people with a worrying screening result have a perfectly healthy baby.
Becca - are you sure about the bugaboo for overnight sleeping? We asked this in mothercare and the sales girl didn't know, so she called Bugaboo direct while we were standing with her and they told her it is not suitable. We discounted it for this reason and went with the vista, which uppababy say is ok.
squ1rrel5 I have washed everything including muslins. Even when it is new, I don't think all the dye residue and chemicals used to fix the dye are completely washed out, so I want to make sure I am reducing the chances of anything irritating baby skin. I was really weird to see little sleepsuits hanging all over the house though!
As for me - have decided which cot we want, just as mothercare went out of stock  so waiting on it coming back in. Midwife says bubs is 3/5 engaged, and I am finding walking much harder work. I find it really pulls on my lower belly (below belly button) when I walk any distance, and it is really quite uncomfortable. Anyone else get this?

Rummer & Robots - So sorry it's not been such a good day for you both. I'm glad you stood your ground though Robots even though she should have been kinder from the beginning instead of seemingly wanting you to justify your confusion.
Sam - woohoo another one for the pink team :j so glad everything went okay for you
Fingers crossed for you Kerri & Ellie

We spoke to Bugaboo at the baby show & they said its fine as it he an aerated mattress although they don't recommend it for everyday use. There's lots on Google saying its fine too & M&P also said it was fineFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Is anyone else really breathless? I've been quite breathless for a good few weeks but this is a lot worse. Don't think it's how baby is laying either.0

Rummer sorry you've not had the best news, huge hugs to you xx
Sam congratulations! FAb newsFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Congratulations Sam Toby
you can start choosing a girl's name now.
Robots - I know how you must be feeling.take your time to absorb the information before making any decisions. It was blood with me too(hormone levels) I was 1 in 65 and found it better to focus on the percentage rather than the odds. I was also told many things as affect the hormone level (hence they can not identify downs from blood alone ) e.g. diet etc. Am no medical expert but could your medication affect the reading? Hugs x0 -
Robots- sorry to hear the news wasn't good
Rummer- sorry for your news too, hopefully as he's big he won't need long in special care and will be home quickly
Samtoby- congratulations! I may be very biased but little girls are the bestlmao at the detail, my DH was funny about the explanation of what 'three lines and nothing sticking out' meant, I can just imagine his squeamish face if we'd had that much detail!
AFM I feel like I've been punched in the foof and I think my bump looks smaller/lower than before so maybe little miss has started to engageoh and had a mild worry before that I couldn't remember the last time she'd moved, so lied in bed thinking about the what ifs and imagining having to go into hospital for monitoring and she didn't half start squirming as if to protest that she's fine really, My shy girl clearly doesn't want anyone looking at her lol

I'm 16 weeks today, and I've been coughing for 2-3 days. I've had a sharp pain on the same place you're describing since I've started coughing (and before if I coughed or sneezed really hard)! I'm guessing it's normal. Probably just more stretching/soreness.0 -
Aw SamToby congratulations!
Hehe TeamLowe she sounds like she is just reminding you not to worry about her too much as she's in there doing her thing************************************
