Im a short bum so i would have to look for a petite maxi but not sure if I should then go for a maternity maxi or just by a bigger size than normal for the moment?

Also are people going ahead and having the whooping cough vaccine? Midwife mentioned it when I saw her last but im not sure what to do, I take medication for my epilepsy so dont really want to give baby any more than she would have but am worried about her getting the whooping cough if I dont... has there really been an increase in whooping cough in babies?

My midwife told me that it was increasing in England and unfortunately a few babies didn't make it. Seems to be getting more common in Scotland too. I can't have the vaccine because I reacted badly when it was given it as a youngster.

Midwife and GP assure me it should be fine because the sheer amount of people who are getting the vaccine while pregnant should create a 'protective bubble'

afternoon everyone just adding myself to the list, 24+2 today expecting a little yellow bundle 1st November, i am going to make an effort to try and post more on this thread since the last one i really was more lurking than anything
almost finished our house renovations so fingers crossed moving in the next few weeks so i can get properly settled before the baby arrives.
Congrats to all the recent births (and dida as well! congratulations! ive been keeping a lurking eye for news!)

TTC40 prams totally baffled me and my partner, as did car seats so we just signed up for the £1 trial to which! found the best rated, tried them out and bought them!

I knew I didn't really want a designer pram as the £1000 they can cost up to would buy all my baby things. We've also done a fair bit with the house and I wanted to ensure my car and overdraft was paid off before my maternity leave started! In the end we got a Mamas and Papas Sola from their outlet shop for £140 so better than I could have ever anticipated!

Just bought the softest and nicest baby pram blankets ever from Kiddicare whom I'm loving at the moment which leads me to the question...anyone bothering with a foot muff?

Hi everyone, I tried to post the other day but I lost it and couldn't be bothered typing it again Baby Heath arrived on Tuesday, born in the pool at 4.55am. 7lbs 2 and a wee darling! Labour and birth were fairly straightforward - I'll post my birth story when I feel a bit less exhausted. We are both well, although feeding is a struggle. I feel like giving up at least once a day, but we will persevere and see what happens. Hope you are all doing ok. Congrats to all the other new mummies :T

Ahh, I'm 3rd!!! where has the time gone im sure i was about 20th last week!! Although with this heat, I think im nearly ready, torn though as I will miss my bump but cant wait to meet LO! I think Girlzmum next!!
