Urgh I am tired and irritable :( I also want to get the house tidy and although the mind is willing the body is having none of it. When I stand even for a few minutes my legs go all heavy and feel as if I have run a marathon. Chewing over going for a nap but I know if I do then I will just be up all night tonight :( I really need to stop the pity party and get a grip!

Emz don't ask don't get :)

I used to work in a shoe shop, so no price matching or anything and I'd have people asking if we could 'do something' on the price. Um, no! It was really embarrassing.

But if you work someone with a price matching scheme then it's to be expected. Ask away!

Hi everyone,

I am currently 19+6 and was on the other thread but have decided I can't take anymore of the conversation over there, so I am going to lurk around here if thats ok.

I have my 20 week scan Monday and am very nervous as I know this is the main medical examination and I am thinking boy due to my pregnancy being similar to the one with DS but the more and more I think about it - the more I think maybe my body is tricking me and its a girl.

I am feeling movement little light kicks - not had a full on thump yet.

My friend is 40+1 and I am awaiting to hear her news and my other friend is 15 weeks so its all babies and pregancy close to me.

:) xx

Welcome over :) I had a look back at that thread and can't say I blame you for coming over here !!

I'm stressing out that I hardly have anything but hoping to wait for the baby events and pick up most things.

Have decided on a theme for nursery, getting a dark greyish flecked carpet and doing the decor colourful ( gender neutral) but not sure what colour to do the walls.

Also need to find a moses basket... can't see any I like for a reasonable price, don't want to pay too much as they aren't in them for long :(

I don't have much at all either but if all is ok at the scan then I will feel ok to buy some bits.

I wasn't going to have a moses basket this time. It was a nightmare last time with DS and he was only in it a few weeks. My friend used her carry cot from her pram and another just used the cot. I guess its personal preference. I used a cot bumper from day one DS was in the cot and I have since seen it is not recommended.

Welcome samtoby don't blame you, that thread has taken a dark turn but hopefully it'll pull itself back out of it soon with all the pram talk.

After waking up at 6am I then went back to bed for 2hrs at 10am lol! I've spent the day being lazy and can't be bothered to do anything. Currently sat on my gym ball doing pelvic rotations, "rotate to dilate" is what they say anyway. No BH or anything today though grr I was so hopeful yesterday.

Welcome over hun,

Haven't had a nosey to see what's going on but you are more than welcome over here, these are truly a lovely bunch of ladies here.

Con1888- l found my Moses basket from Argos, I hated all the others I saw in the likes of Mama's & Papa's, Mothercare, etc
Although saying that I saw Mama's & Papa's are having a sale at the minute but don't really know how good it is.

This is the one i ended up buying although luckily not at that heart stopping price :D

Hi Samtoby :-)

Talking of moses baskets we got ours with a folding stand, matress and little blanket duvet thing (plus the usual canopy bit thingy) for £35 from Amazon. I'll see if I can find the link for anyone that may be interested

ETA: here's the link, the price has gone up a bit now though http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tatty-Designer-moses-basket-stand/dp/B004K7Z7NY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1388247958&sr=8-1&keywords=tatty+ted+moses+basket+with+stand

• Welcome SamToby! I was worried about my 20 week scan in advance. Like some other ladies who'd felt movement much earlier, I hadn't felt a thing. My first sensation was at exactly 20 weeks but it wasn't obvious what it was. My scan was 20 + 3 so I was feeling pretty nervous, plus having had the most serious sonographer in the world for my 12 week scan didn't help! The girl I had on my 20 week scan was marvellous and was reassuring through every step of it. Hopefully you'll have a similar experience!

I'm 29 weeks now and I still worry! It's only natural. Although I'm enjoying being pregnant and loving buying lots of baby things I'll still have some worries until she is on my arms! Then I've got a lifetime of being a worried mum ahead of me!
