Lovely to hear from you Lily, hope your little girl can come home soon x
re: bras, I gave up on non-granny bras a long time ago, I'm already too big for my J cup lol going to get a back extender to tide me over, figure there's no point getting more until my milk comes in and I'll buy the bravissimo one's begrudgingly as they'll probably be the only ones that will fit and midwife said support was even more important in big boobed ladies
Belly is still bad at night but dh has had a bad belly too so maybe we've had a bug. And of course even though his hasn't been half as bad as mine he's had such a terrible time with it all the poorly little soldier. He's always like that when ill though, rather annoying over Christmas lol
Had a lovely Christmas with family, was nice being fussed over although nearly every relative said 'how are you doing? You're looking really well' so now I think that's code for 'look how big you are!' Lol
Went shopping today but didn't pick anything up as there didn't seem much point buying things that fit now and I don't know what size I'll be after little miss is here. So we nipped to mothercare and I got a few nursing tops which are nice enough that if I don't breastfeed I can still wear. Oh and some zebra booties and tiny jeans for babyLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Yes, since about the 16th I've had that ever since baby dropped down. It did start to ease a bit recently and I found the best thing for me to do was to walk it off...oddly sitting down made it worse and walking hurt initially but as I walked it off it seemed to ease. Made no sense to me, but I wonder if it's just the muscles adjusting to the pressure. Does it look like you've dropped?
Have just told OH about my dodgy tummy and that he can spend all evening playing computer games if he wants as I'm not sure baby is going to be in for much longer. Tightenings are going round to my back although nothing that I can time just yet.
Yeah my theory is that the ligaments etc are all stretched, from the pelvis being widened by baby's head and - like when you've pulled a muscle and you done nothing for a bit, it cools down and contracts a bit, so it hurts to get going and stretch and ease it off a bit - that's what I think sitting down/lying in one position etc is doing to the horse-kicked bitsGlad it's not just me, in the nicest possible way
;)
Midwife said baby is deeply engaged and I can feel the bum much lower in my belly than it once was (and I can eat more). No doubt s/he's getting into position etc but aside from BH etc there's no other signs yet.
I'm like you though - ready to get this show on the road!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Delurking to say that on the day before I gave birth had all the symptoms you've described kerri. It sounds like it won't be long now! Good luck xx
Re: bras. The mothercare ones are great for nursing. I went up one cup size and it fit nicely when my milk came in. I've noticed they do bigger sizes too.

Hi ladies
I've been a long time lurker but thought I should join in and say hello, I can't remember if I have posted before, so apologies if I have. I'm currently 35+3 weeks pregnant and like many of you, I'm ready to get this started. Little one has been head down since 20 weeks, and been giving me the run around ever sincenot that I mind at all I just wish I didn't have to live on antibiotics throughout the entire pregnancy.
Had strong BH Christmas Day but no other warning signsstill not that long to go and I get to meet my little miss.
Anyway just thought I should say hi.

Hi bambi  I remember you from the ttc thread I think? Would you like adding to the list? Why have you been on antibiotics? Did your waters break?
Keep us posted kerri...
Oh and Firefly, tell me about it! I can't believe we found out right at the beginning of May and I'm already full term! Seems like so long ago looking back to that moment, but not at all, at the same time. Very strange. I can't get my head around how much will be different in just a couple of weeks time either... craziness. Utter craziness.
I've got my eye on you too Mrs Happy:D

Has anyone found anywhere with good sales ? Preferably online as I hate the shops.
Loads still to get !!0 -
I've been on the hunt for a maternity coat for ages, finally the Asos one I liked got reduced, used a voucher I had and paid a few quid. Well it's just arrived but the size 8 is a bit tight around the shoulders so I've packed it back up to exchange, but just looked on the website and the size 10 is gone! It's like the world is conspiring against me to get one lol!
Hi Claire, any luck with the coat? I was searching like mad for a decent coat and just found a lovely parka in h&m. Just in time as I was popping out of the other one.:)0 -

I found a padded parka type thing in h&m but they only had I think size 16-18 left online, and in store I think 12-14 or something like that, anyway they were too big for me.
So tomorrow I'm going to my friends who has a normal size 10 coat that she doesn't wear as it's too big for her, I'm going to try it on and if it fits with room for a bigger bump then I'll borrow it for the winter.
Then I'll send the Asos one back.
If it doesn't fit I'll have to either have restricted arms in the Asos coat or send it back and keep looking!!0 -

Ooh yes please BigzippyI'm ashamed it's taken me this long to come out of hiding. Think I didn't want to tempt fate again especially after my mc last year.
I've had UTI repeatedly throughout, they've been trying to find a cause but haven't been able to work it out. Hygiene is normal, fluids are up, no kind of sexual or bodily contact with anyone. Its very peculiar. I thought my show happened last week however after they sent me for monitoring they said it was still intact and I was just having a bleed, so I got another Anti-D injection and was sent on my merry way
I'm a bit worried though as after speaking to the midwife I've now got to go speak to a Dr at my local clinical unit, she said it was nothing to worry about but she didn't elaborate either and also have been booked for a growth scan on 2nd because little miss is measuring a week smaller than she should be (I have no idea how, seeing as everyone I speak to has asked if I am sure there's only one in there!!:mad: )
Only a few more weeks to go and LO will be here :j
Con1888 - I've literally shopped myself out Asda, mama's and papa's, next, Debenham's & sainsbury's have all been hit by me today. I prefer to go in store only because I have a thing for seeing and holding the things I buy.....Yeah that makes me sound weird. Pregnancy has given me a bit of ocd
