What I meant was could you change some of your mat leave, to holiday. So if you're off for all of Feb, could you make that your hol and then start your mat leave in March? Or not necessarily the whole month but like add on an extra week or two of hol/push back mat leave a week or two ?

Or did you want to save some holiday for when you return?

I don't want to go back so I want to use my 4 weeks holiday to start my 'maternity' leave.

Birdie I feel your rib pain, little lady's favourite trick is to jab her head against my pubic bone whilst having a probably a leg rub against my rib when i'm driving, little tinker so she is! when she sticks her butt out i try to poke it back in cos it looks weird, can't be hurting her cos it doesn't hurt me to be poked in the bum and she's surrounded by a protecting layer of fluid and my belly! lol

my bump looks weird at the moment sticks out right at the top where she's sticking her bum out and then there's little but my existing fat at the bottom, so it proper slopes. strange child so she is lol

very excited that my nursery furniture is coming tomorrow but it's mum who's kindly agreed to sit in and wait for it (we should get an hour slot for it) and i'll have to make sure my house is very neat and tidy otherwise she'll find jobs to do and i'll feel guilty when i get home lol

Sod feeling guilty TL, leave her a list to keep herself occupied! IME, Mums love to feel like they're helping anyway so you're doing her a favour! Make sure you put pics on the FB group of the nursery once it's all up!

I can't figure out what lumps are what when they stick out, just that they can hurt if they catch the wrong spot!

she did say she wanted to be told a big job to do whilst she's waiting like the windows, so i'll probably ask her to do that lol
