Struggled to give a pee sample though, I can't pee under pressure, especially when there's someone sat outside the cubicle making sure there's no funny business going on! :o

lol, I would have thought you'd had a lot of practice lately - I have to give one every time I see the midwife :rotfl:

I've just been tested for drugs and alcohol! :rotfl: They do random testing every couple of months at work and they picked me this time. Everyone was like, 'Really?! The pregnant girl?!', bit of a waste of money and time but I guess if they pick you, you have to do it! Struggled to give a pee sample though, I can't pee under pressure, especially when there's someone sat outside the cubicle making sure there's no funny business going on! :o

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I would end up being under suspicion every time as I can't pee under pressure either - much to my midwife's annoyance!

Lots of sympathy here for the women with wiggly babies who are disrupting sleep. My little lady has been stopping me from sleeping at night (her favourite time for gymnastics rehearsals ;)) for weeks now. It's reached the stage where DH actually expects to find me awake in the morning and napping when he gets home from work :o

My MW doesn't love me either because I'm useless at giving samples! Last time I went I'd forgotten to do it at home so tried to squeeze one out before my appointment, it was the smallest, most pathetic little scared trickle of wee ever! :rotfl: Back there tomorrow so I must remember to do a sample at home before I go! :o

TeamLowe - baby never used to wake me either but he used to wriggle all night until I went to bed and once the alarm went off. I used to wake for the loo around 4-4:30am though. My friend said that her baby carried their pattern through when he was born, I've found this to be true with Joshua. He cluster feeds until around 11pm-midnight (my bedtime) and used to wake around 4-4:30 for a feed then asleep until we're up and cluster feed for a bit. These days he will go through until 6am ish. Hopefully your little one will follow suit. Xx

Ooh I hope so, she only wakes up properly after half nine! Lazy like her daddy :)
Just walked the full length of the trafford centre and back, I'm knackered with a sore pubic bone but it's DH that's gone for a nap lol worth it for a burrito though mmm and I saw lots of cute clothes for little miss, especially in H&M, there's a lot of cute Disney and Hello Kitty stuff in there, can't wait to get paid :)

Becca hope the GTT wasn't too torturous, after mine I was so hungry I hoovered down three courses at Frankie and Benny's :rotfl:

Last time I went to the midwife she said 'have you got a sample? Course you have I saw you do it' I gave her a very shocked look til I realised she meant she'd seen me go into the bathroom, not actually do the sample lol

thanks for the reminder ladies, I see the MW on weds.

I asked for some pots last time and was present by what I can only describe as a test tube!
think I'm'm going to have to dig out a disposable cups and then decant into said test tube, no chance I'm going to be able to aim that well!

Does seem like a waste of resources Birdie!

Has anyone bought a gro bag at a reduced price or seen any deals?

I like the fact you can get really thin ones for our hot bedrooms. But they're £30 which is double the price of a normal sleeping bag so wondering if anyone sells it cheaper?
They sell them in TKMaxx although I haven't seen thin ones there so I don't know whether they vary depending on the time of year.

On a related note, does anyone else not get woken by baby kicks? Keep seeing people post that baby woke them up but I've never been, either she's quiet at night or I'm just not noticing lol
This is my third time in the third trimester and I've never been woken by baby kicks.

Baby seems to start kicking after 10pm and then in early hours of morning, though today he was at it while I was squashed on a train at 12.30pm and he kicked just under my arm so my arm was jerking onto the person next to me!

I didn't have the GTT, have they forgotten me?

I'm definitely a moneysaver, got a maxicosi car seat for £15 at the weekend, I've been assured that it was just used to get baby home from hospital and no accidents so I hope it's ok, it's looks fine, I'm giving it a good wash anyway!

lol at the drug test :)

I've had to pee in a ridiculously narrow pot before, very awkward when you can't see what you're doing!

Met hubby at lunch today, he had a job interview and me and him were doing interview practice yesterday and I was a bit anxious. We ordered a sandwich for him after and sat waiting for it, after half an hour no sandwich so I went to the counter and they had forgotten about us....cue tears....oh dear I can't go anywhere, I get too upset when things don't go my way!
