Hi all,
Just waiting for hubby to get back from work trip in the States, said good bye Wednesday morning so looking forward to big cuddles on his return (45 mins and counting). He was texting last night from baby clothes shops so looking forward to see what he bought for baby too.
Had a miserable day yesterday as I was feeling yucky with my cold and had to cancel a nice lunch I was looking forward to. Feeling a bit more human today though still full of cold! Thanks for the headsup re saline nasal sprays, might be one to stock up in the first aid box for next time!
Thanks for sharing news and bump pics xfran-o0 -
Glad your hubby is home Fran.
Has anyone bought a gro bag at a reduced price or seen any deals?
I like the fact you can get really thin ones for our hot bedrooms. But they're £30 which is double the price of a normal sleeping bag so wondering if anyone sells it cheaper?0 -
That's a very cute bump Claire, very neat
I've put on what feels like literally a tonne lol but it's all on my belly and boobs, I'll just have to deal with it once little lady is here, lots of walks with the pram and another reason to breastfeed
Thanks! Im very excited about pram walks.
Im still waiting for it to hit my boobs. Believe it or not theyre actually slightly bigger but not really changed much. So Ive basically put on 13lbs on my bump as it doesnt seem to have gone anywhere else! No wonder Ive been getting bump ache!0 -
I am 100 % convinced that when my son arrives the weight will simply melt off me and I will go from my pre birth clothes size of 14 to an 8 simply by breastfeeding and going for walks in the park
I think I might also have to fit in a cheeky wee nap too
Me too! I have some size 10 jeans and dresses that I haven't wore in about 2-3years as I was meant to be losing weight again before I got pregnant but my body got confused and put weight on so I was a 16 when fell pregnant :rotfl: silly body.....it did that reserve physiology thing on me.
I am going to try my best to lose weight next summer, long walks, swims etc already told DH that he has to give me 2 me evenings per week to exercise without baby (gym, swimming or might join a team....maybe netball? Have always fancied to learn tennis...maybe an option?) we will see if that works!
Well I have joined the napping group....visited my parents yesterday before they go on holiday this week, and fell asleep for half an hour on their sofa....didn't realise until I woke up! Today I was up at 7, has to drop DH off at work, came back had breakfast etc and by 10am I was napping.....woke at 1240:eek: thought I should go and have a shower but baby was moving around and I was watching him kick.....then woke up at 230pm! Defo had a shower then, had so many plans for today but my body is telling me to rest. Not sure if I will be going shopping in Chester tomorrow now.

Brilliant thanks! Was just about to post this! We got loads
What did you buy?
We were about to go home then spent £70 in there!
We got a pink snowflake & grey jumper dress in 6-12 months with pink tights I found to match, and I got a matching one for my friends little girl in age 2 so we can get a matching photo next winter. Then a cream sleeping bag with grey stars on it. A pack of 0-3, 3 coraly coloured baby vest things. A newborn vest saying I love my daddy in a cream colour. Then a 6-12 month dark pink wool coat lined with a pattern which looks so similar to mine we had to get it! Then a pink padded snow suit which I saw the other day but couldn't justify the price!
