What a dramatic day I have had  I ended up taking unwell in a shop and nearly fainted, luckily my daughter who is super sensible got my glucose tablets out and calmly fed me them and chatted till I felt better. The woman in the queue looked terrified!
Then we went to a cafe to let me recover and I still didn't get much better so hubby had to come and get us. Bless us as soon as he walked in I burst into tearsNot the fun day I had planned fro DD and I. However I am so proud of how calm and organised she was
I bought a pair of baby jeans today as they were so tiny and cute and they make me smile just looking at them.
Kerri my book Montessori Play and Learn arrived the is morning and although the pics are very dated the ideas are great and I have been enjoying dipping into it and plan to read it properly tomorrow. It is out of print now so I got it used for a few pence via Amazon.
A friend is coming for dinner in an hour and I am trying to wake myself up!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Thanks to Becca & Teamlowe for your help with the group
I think the easiest way to do it in future is for you to send a PM to either me, Becca or TL with your email address on that you sign on to facebook with - then we can send you an invite via email to join the group.
I tried adding / looking for a few of you from your details, but I can't always find you so it makes it harder. This email way is easier as then we don't need to be 'friends' to invite you.
Once in (haha, like its a secret club - first rule, don't talk about the secret club), then if you want to just put a little introduction on about yourself, like I would put: Abi xxx - abis21 - DD2 (Aliona) born 3/12/13 or Becca might put Becca xxx - Becca0417 - yellow bundle due 3/3/14.
When we have a few peeps, I can do like a 'sticky' for the top of the page of whos who, cos its a bit disorientating at the mo people looking different to how I imagined them and especially when their real names aren't their user names :rotfl:
Looking forward to chatting with even more piccies! I love a piccie I do :rotfl:Married my lobster in July 2011

Yay! Sent a PM to be added then.
Different topic - caught a bit of a cold Thursday when I was out all day in the really tough winds. Is there anything I can do to help alleviate my runny nose (mucus is clear, so no infection thankfully) and sneezing? I've never had a cold that I've sneezed so much with! I keep scaring the bunnies with my super hard sneezes, and I know if the baby could hear already, it would be jumping at each one.
Other than my nose beginning to get raw, I feel fine, so hopefully it will go away on it's own soon, I just hate needing to blow my nose and cross my legs every time I sneeze lest I wet myself.0 -
Ooooh fb group sounds like a lovely idea! I'm quite cautious of sharing things in public places so am always a bit wary of sharing too much on this board.
Came on here with the intention of reading back the past weeks worth of messages but there is just sooo many and I'm feeling too sorry for myself!
Abis - congrats, lovely name!
Final exam sat yesterday, now just have to sit and cross my fingers and hope I passed! Also had the whooping cough jab after my MW appointment in the afternoon, I didn't realise it was other things aswell!
My arm is really, really sore today and I'm feeling pretty rubbish - hopefully just the effects of the jab.0 -
Mrs TM and Kerri- I've had a tissue with a couple of drops of olbas oil on it near all day, it's really helped keep me clear
Rummer that does sound dramatic! Hope you're feeling better now
DH has had to go out and buy sudacrem as he's managed to chafe his balls and butt. I shouldn't laugh but he came down looking for moisturizers but I only had sweetpea body butter which was clearly too perfumed for his sensitive bits as he yelped and then drowned the bathroom trying to wash it off
Poor love, can't work out how it's happened other than he's started wearing waterproof trousers whilst on his scooter so his precious bits can't breathe. Need to take care of them too, we've not decided about trying for a second baby yet lolLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
