Well baby still hasn't made her appearance Still no contractions either. Only 60 mins away from needing iv antibiotics now so my hope of going to the midwifery led unit is fading very fast
Got to contact the hospital at 10 to see about going in.

Oh Amy how frustrating. hopefully though you will be holding your baby very soon.

Gorgeous baby pics, it makes me smile every time I see a new born, as it is not long (ok its really ages ) until I get to meet my own.

I am feeling better and have started to shake off the head cold I have had this week. All just in time for my back to start giving up :rotfl: When I get up I have a kind of hobble/shuffle thing going on for a few steps until I can convince my body to work. Oh and I seem to have suddenly grown another chin (or two) which is not a good look. Ah the unexpected joys of pregnancy!

I've done pretty much nothing today in the hopes that I'll feel ok enough to go out with a friend for lunch tomorrow... fingers crossed! She's very kindly offered to pick up the last bits I think I need (from an actual shop) for DH's stocking, so anything else I want/need I can order online or have him there with me (pushing my wheelchair) for. Phew! Hoping I won't feel this lousy for the rest of my pregnancy, but very glad I started Christmas shopping so early just in case. :cool:

Quick update. Hospital for induction at 8am. But been having contractions since 3:15 every 10mins or so lasting anywhere between 1 & 1:30 a time. Will try and keep you lovely ladies informed. I know I havnt been the most regular poster but towards the end you guys have really helped xxx

So glad it's Friday! If only because it means I can spend all day tomorrow wrapped up in my new heated throw (OH took pity on me and bought it yesterday!) and rest my poor back/bum/legs! Really hoping the thought of it being almost the weekend will keep the tears at bay today too!

Also, because I'm a big old geek, I'm excited about Dr Who tomorrow night! :cool:

I was going to go out for a walk today but it is all first and sloppy so I am going to wait until later as I am not the steadiest on my feet atm. So instead I have thrown myself into the house work and have achieved loads already :j

Currently I am a bit irritated that work on the nursery has stalled as we can't get into our bedroom because of all the baby stuff piled there and getting from one side of the room to the other is becoming quite an event :eek:

My supplements have just arrived, I've run upstairs all excited then realised I've no idea what I should be taking so went to find the list where it tells us and thought I'd update it as it was a few pages back


NCT class last night freaked me out about inductions, glad I've already had the hypnobirthing training as I think without that I'd be really panicking about whether my body would get the baby out in time. The training I've done helps me to realise this is what a woman's body is made for, and thankfully in our family we have quite easy/quick births and I'm hoping for the same.
